Our clients wanted the apartment to be a serene refuge from the busy street, especially the bedrooms the master bedroom created with a monochromatic palette of light beige, Oak veneer and shades of texture—the bed is upholstered in a soft cotton fabric, the walls are covered in oak veneer and neutral share and a distressed wool rug warms the floor. The different textures complement each other and create a soothing atmosphere. The sheer drapery filters the light through the large windows and a pop of color comes from the greenery of Raphis palms.

Master bedroom is covered in shades of olive green and warm oak wood tones. The built-in wardrobe looks lovely finished in a super matt olive green laminate. The warm oak wood floor creates a beautiful contrast with the green. The bed and side tables are custom made. The bed back wall is kept classic with the addition of a classic set of bedside wall lamps. And a softly patterned wallpaper adds a bit of texture to the room.

The Master bedroom reflects minimalism with a hint of bohemian vibes. The colour plays of grey and white along with the wooden flooring and veneers add serenity to the space. The wooden furniture extends as the window seating creates a unified look. The vertical beading inlay recurs by the window seating and for the cupboards. 9.Vernacular Approach for Upscale Luxury | Design Kacheri
The interiors are very minimal. Every material and element of the structure is highlighted in its true self. Exposed bricks, earthen walls and exposed concrete with contrasting black stone floor becomes the feature in each space. Beds, sofas, chairs and wardrobes are custom made in cane. Some of the old cane and wooden furniture were sourced and re-purposed too. Local stone artisans, cane craftsmen, potters and plantation workers who were unemployed during non-harvest months were trained and employed.

10.Symphony of Classic Design Elements creating Dramatic Sciagraphy | Illusion Design Studio
Muted tones adorn the house-exposed concrete, white, and a pinch of beige, with the occasional splash of pastels in the bedrooms. The embellishments in engraved veneer are another creative innovation. A happy accident, we noticed that the singed CNC cut veneer fit perfectly with the color scheme. Done for the first time in the city, this engraved veneer is revolutionary in its installation.

Decadent yet minimalist, the ensuite master bedroom is a space steeped in character and offers an ingenious take on raw materiality. “The client’s brief dictated the desire to create a dark, cozy, and sanctuary-sequel space. The sheer volume of the room and its lofty sloping ceilings brewed architectural drama that was untapped potential awaiting exploration! We experimented across its surfaces, the walls, floors, and ceilings in tow; manifesting as focal elements that dabble in simple materials seen in an unconventional light,” adds Charita.

12.Mashrabiya – Marrying Traditional family values of Togetherness with Architectural Framework | FORM Design Studio
The bedrooms carry a simplistic theme in the same white shell and a warm toned flooring dotted with traditional motifs. Carefully planned openings bring in views from terrace balconies and triple height courtyard to establish visual connection between spaces. In the main bedroom, the façade jaili forms beautiful intricate shadow patterns while also blocking glare and allowing a beautiful view of the garden across the lane.

One of the master bedroom’s on the ground floor is linked with courtyard that treats for some resort ambient. The owners wanted to greet themselves with nature on waking up daily and have some fresh air flow during the day for relaxation. Transforming the identity of backdrops, an attempt to depict natural material palette on wall, green textured tiles are juxtapose with stone patterned tiles in curve forms to create large wall art. Feel of materials attract the curiosity of viewers to feel it.

Master bedroom has lot of playfully used geometry – use of semicircles on the wardrobe, circular wall frames above headboard and the circular pattern on the TV unit wall. The guest bedroom also accessed from the dining room has an interesting play of elements. The east wall window lets in light to a camel yellow fluted wall behind the bed. The golden glow emitted by it is supported by a black upholstered headboard. To help perceive the room as a bigger space, the wardrobe is designed to float with a bronze mirrored lower cabinet and a deep niche created at the bed level. The floor appears to be doubled reducing the visual weight in the room.

The Master Bedroom opens up to a terrace adding up ample amounts of light to the bedroom fusing with primary element of minimal design. The four poster bed was chosen to instate luxury with simplicity in the master bedroom. Keeping the material palette same, a full size mirror was added to the bedside enhancing the volume of the space and adding an old world charm with the mirror frame design. The soft beige wall texture behind and adjacent to the bed hints to the warmth in the room. The small study assists with brightly lit WFH hours.

The elder son’s master bedroom flooring is covered with green kota stone in galicha pattern. Illuminating wall art and the hues of peach and greys leave the room looking fresh. Storage in this room is discreetly scooped out but barely visible since it is flushed, including its handles. Tv unit has an exposed concrete back which accessorizes the ceiling with surface lights and an exposed electrical grid. Optimizing the space, a folding study table is provided which barely takes up space and is hardly noticeable when closed.

75. Residence Interiors in Mumbai Stirs a Fresh Approach to Contemporary Interior Design | HS Designs
The bed, console and wardrobes all feature the same wood repeated in different patterns of grooving and molding. A lime and sage green on the wall opposite the bed makes the room soft, versatile and refreshing. The location of the toilet was changed from the original to carve out a space for wardrobes, console and dresser to give it a bigger entrance instead of narrow passage.

Our young client wanted to create a space where he would feel a sense of his own and that went along the lines of “bright”, “bold” and “colorful”. With Orange being his favorite color, we played around it with blue and grey to offset it and made a cozy and fun den for him. A striped daybed in the middle of his cupboard is perfect for an afternoon of reading for him.

The master bed sits on four spherical wooden bollards surrounded by furniture made of rattan and block printed linen upholstery. The boxed lounge that opens into the balcony is inspired by the local flora and fauna where the textured shutters are treated with an ebullient hand painted mural. The peppy pink sofa with brass legs sits over the neutral backdrop of lime and wood.

The master suite has been created by incorporating the balcony within the revised layout, thereby maximizing the blueprint. The design intent was tethered to creating a sanctuary of sorts for Radeesh where every inch of the space echoes serenity and understated beauty. With a muted palette, the room is layered snugly with hues and prints via soft furnishings, selected antiques, and art.

83. Gulati Niwas : An Apartment Interior Design Transforming Space With Charm And Tranquil | Kaizaad Mehta Architects
The parent’s bedroom maintains the existing wooden flooring and presents an uncluttered relaxing space. A hue of pastel pink splashes over the main wall above the grey bed-back. Sconces and oval shaped mirrors flagged on either side blend with design palate seamlessly. A touch of grey on the white panelled doors of the wardrobe compliments the bed-back and a soft bench parallel to the bed. Opposite, a grey void breaks through the white panelled storage with wood finished knobs that reflect the flooring.

From floor to wall to ceiling there is a vision of love for whites. The robustness of console unit, the “Infinity” wall piece and honeycomb chiseled wooden ceiling signify the voyagers at sea. The entrance foyer and bedroom being divided by a sleek glass partition gives the resident the best of both worlds, while the chestnut wood veneer and the concrete wall lay their warmth on the bed.

A laudable master bedroom design seals the deal in this haven. The general theme of the master bedroom is minimalistic and glitzy. The pastel shades reflect the charming personality and beliefs of the couple. The fancy cushioned headboard next to the elegant bedding illustrates that even small efforts can create exquisite designs. While the flooring is lustrous, the accent wall boasts of meticulous geometric patterns. Another captivating feature is the wardrobe design. The wall-mounted TV unit is framed with adoration and looks every bit fancy as well as classical.

The bedroom adjacent to the dining area is an exploration of wickerwork and warm tones. A consolidated wardrobe in wood and cane extends into a beautiful study table and wooden shelving, through a beautiful composition of curved edges and soft lines. This bed space exudes a mature warmth, affirmed by the custom-designed bed and headboard. The bed appears to be floating, similar to the backlit circular artwork hung on the headboard which is finished in wooden strips. A window next to the bed overlooks the terrace and greens, allowing in natural light which casts a mellow glow in the space.

With subdued colours of grey-cream-brown, the master bedroom is an oasis of calmness. The box-bed, the floating side table and the elongated headboard are surely an element of surprise. The vanity, with closely paneled wood and a matching table create the right ambience with the backlit mirror and the reverse lighting.

The master bedrooms display a warm and detail rich vocabulary , chevron patterned wooden floor laid in between bays of carrara marble accentuating the bed area , a console table sitting against a chevron patterned wall paneling finished in a matte PU beige tone and the same chevron pattern running across the room on the bed back and the wardrobe shutters . Contrasting upholstery add the topping to the subtle tones.
