5.Warm Tones Of Tan And Wood

Warm tones of tan, wooden elements, and warm shades of browns set the thematic backdrop in the family lounge area; embossed patterned paneling, brass wall installations create the highlights in this zone. The voided geometric partition wall and faux plants screen the spaces from the circulatory passage leading up to the formal living room. The family lounge looks into views of green as it is flanked by an open-to-sky triple-height courtyard that is dressed with a scaling faux foliage vertical garden and a traditional swing on the ground level, reminiscent of heritage Gujarati residences.

7.Varied Shades Of White

What was unique about this site was the lovely view it had. Luckily adjacent to few acres of open land with a very naturally wild landscape, lovely bit of boulders. We could spot peacocks every other day. We had completely reworked the civil structure from what the earlier designer had proposed, to a new proposal to open up the whole building to capture these views. The users of the space don’t really need anything to relax but to just lookout to take a chill. Pleasant to the eyes, the view is beautiful at different times of the day, and changing seasons.

8.Oblong Kitchen Island

The sumptuous, upraised kitchen countertop starkly contrasts with the subtle pastel elements inlaid within several layers of this sublime, regal kitchen. 13.Italian Kitchen Countertop

Founded in the 1950s, Binova is among the top 20 European Kitchen brands based out of Italy. Since this is the first-ever flagship showroom in India, the client was insistent that it be one of the best. The entire design process revolved around highlighting the carefully crafted kitchens and making them stand out in the space. 14.Brick Clad Countertop

The 9.45 cents plot, one of many carved out into the windward side of a small hill in the urban outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, overlooks the valley on the East and has a 3.3m wide access street to the West.This vernacular home embraces nurturing and forgiving spaces for varying emotions and conflicts; to unite as Akam (അകം- Malayalam transl. core/ inside/ mind/ soul) of the family.

15.Complementing Kitchen Island

The brief laid out by the client was to design a very functional, Vastu compliant house with two bedrooms, living, dining, family seating, wet and dry kitchen on the lower level, and an entertainment area with some spill-over space on the upper level. White bare walls and grey floors create an overarching harmony in the house, which is then accented with highlights of blue.

16.Deconstructed Counterbase

Two homes were amalgamated into one with, two drawing areas, a family living area, an everyday family dining and a formal dining accommodating larger crowd, an everyday kitchen and a party/ open kitchen with utility, store room and a room for the house help, The home has 6 bedrooms with attached closets, toilets, private balconies. An extra bedroom was converted into a media room with a small bar provision adjacent. Another bedroom was converted into an exclusive master closet for him and her.

20.Blue-Wood Luxury

On the right side of the dining, the space opens up into the spunky blue kitchen. With an open kitchen plan that was conspicuous in the public space, we decided to conceptualize it to create a fully immersive experience. We chose a striking blue as our base tone and interweaved it with soft whites accentuating it with rattan. With functionality being prima facie, we also designed a petite island for them, which serves as a breakfast counter too. Detailing the island with curves to replicate the entryway arch we designed, we harmonized our scheme. We further added pizazz to the space with glitzy gold accents in the delicate cabinet knobs and a pendant light above the island, not to miss the faucet at the sink as well.

22.Minimalist Countertop

This project is called 02, The Hidden House, and spans across the plot area of 12,000 sq.ft, located in the heart of north Vadodara. The house is a geometric composition of clean lines and stark surfaces. There is a very strong reason for calling it a hidden house due to the relation between context and concept. The house is facing south with 18 meter wide road in front.

26.Marble Over Wood Strip Base

The open kitchen is adjacent to the dining space. It is open with an island platform, and a sleek reflective surfacing is what defines the space. It is conceptualized in gray and white with the gray overpowering through its vertical grooves and its spread over the platform and walls to terminate into the ceiling. A wood band runs across the ceiling space detailed in veneer and grooves. A metal cuboidal frame is brought down keeping it slender; aptly functioning to engage the chimney over the island platform. An oblique with marble on one side and wood on the other construes the island platform cum workstation.

29.Interplay of Hues and Finishes

The capacious kitchen dons a bright mien with its subtle yet impactful interplay of hues and finishes. The exposed concrete floors by Super Surfaces carry forth through the kitchen, only to be interjected by a whiff of colour in the form of a rustic jade hue adorning the backsplash tiles. The function of storage and circulation is further enhanced herein with a central cooking island, creating an interactive layout within. The white-hued cabinetry establishes a sense of expanse, layered with rattan-clad millwork fronts and deep wooden tones through the open shelving systems. The matte gold hardware ushers in quiet elegance into the kitchen.

32.Classic White Wainscoting

The dining ensemble consists of a very elegant white and black marble standing atop antique wooden legs refurbished from the family’s’ previously used furniture paired with contemporary wooden chairs. Also present in the dining room is a curious repurposed Edwardian cabinet that earlier served as a storage for clothes. With the addition of framed glass shutters, it today serves as a crockery cum wine storage cabinet.

This clean modern kitchen is an example of luxurious minimalism. With white glass shutters complementing the smart blue quartz counter, this kitchen has an English charm to it accented with golden handles that are super classy. To reinforce the idea of spatial control for the two women, we decided to plan a nucleus living space close to the kitchen. The idea was to create clear and distinct visual connections to the upper floors using light courts, staircases and courtyards as well as main entrances to the residence from this very room. A home right in the middle of suburbs or Ahmedabad. A home for a family of two generations living together. The site is located in the suburbs of the city Ahmedabad. Away from hustling city, the site is surrounded by green pastures. The site itself is a home to 34 full grown palm trees on the North and Eastern side. 50.Small Kitchen Countertop Design

What one sees in this residence is how well the interiors blend in with the large windows in the living hall and bedrooms. The design idea for this residence was to strike a perfect balance between simplicity and luxury. We have created simple and straight concepts, characterized by lavish, expensive-looking materials and furnishings. Natural light has played a great role in warming up the spaces of this apartment. The light colored backdrops and upholstery give a sense of naturalness and a welcoming vibe to this home.

Kitchen Island Design is rapidly taking over Indian homes. It has plenty of added benefits aside from being aesthetically pleasing. It improves workflow and is customizable to add hidden storage units. Waterfall countertops with barstools, i.e., a countertop with vertically extending sides reaching the floor, are a recent style statement. Unfortunately, it comes with a hefty price tag, which makes it unsuitable for budget-friendly designs.
