    19.Stepped Vanishing Swimming Pool Design | In Quest Design Studio

    Stepping onto the roof, one is welcomed with the magnificent vista of the Hatir Jheel. The glass-wrapped cozy family party space is accompanied by a green lawn adjacent to it.     20.Banana Plantation and Pool Extension | Architecture Interspace

    In a quaint little village, Kurumbagaram, near the port town of Karaikal in southern Tamil Nadu experiencing slow living with this leisure home in the vacation home of our client- a newly married couple and their parents. Intended to be a get-away from the hustle of urban life, the house is nestled amongst the shade of sandalwood trees, fruit orchards and paddy fields.     The landscape has been designed such that it gives a sense of seamless connection between the greenery and interior spaces all around the site.     The design brief was very simple hence making it much more challenging – a gift from a father for his daughter who was getting married and the house would be the starting point of her new journey. The 39’x93’ linear plot had its larger side facing the ocean front with a beautiful view of the Bay of Bengal. Like every beachfront property, a default requirement was to ensure that every part of the house had a view of the ocean.

    On the south end of the Pool sits the secluded entity ‘The Pavilion’ overlooking the pool.  The glass Pavilion has been envisaged as the tranquil recreation hub of the house, floating above the pool, is the final destination of all the movement routes at ground floor level. It is connected to the semi-covered bar extending out of the Drawing room on one side and to the living room deck through glass steps over the pool on another side.

    35.A Row of Palms | Bridge studio

    All villas are detached from each other creating another access to the pool and garden without disturbing inner spaces and also it acts as service entry for the same during functions at villa. Landscape area has trees bearing different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Its compound wall is avoid of masonry. It has bamboo fence with creepers all over so that one ends its vision with greenery from within.

    36.Exposed and Slim Partitions | Patel-Vadodaria

    The amount of steel and concrete was reduced by using filler slabs with earthen pots that were made by a local potter. Unburnt bricks comprising of surkhi waste and ceramic waste lime mortar were used for masonry. Waste stone chips were sourced for in-situ terrazzo flooring and reclaimed beer bottles were reused as fillers in walls together with pallet wood from the packaging industry.

    Being an architectural design project, the site and its context proved to be the major source of inspiration for ‘House by the Lake’. Recalling our very first site visit, we remember being entranced by the lake and the spectacle of nature in front of us, a vessel to view and re-unite with nature. This lake-touch parcel of land surrounded by lush greenery on three sides demanded the building of a series of ‘viewing galleries’ entrapped within the notion of a second home rather than the usual ‘off the mill’ bungalow – a captivating house with enchanting views of the lake and hills beyond.

    The progression of movements into the site is either by a gate into the parking area or by the waiting area into the theme restaurant. The formal organization of the theme restaurant borrows from Surat’s history as being a major trading port. The arrangement of the is divided into separate volumes protruding from the service passage at the back and having various angles, banking on a water pool imitates boats anchored on the port.

    The premise of the project was to create an outdoor environment cooled down through passive design. The 120 pax restaurant seats between a water body, the swimming pool, and an extensive tropical garden.     45.Fluidity and Interconnectedness | Studio SKAI

    We have created a skylit courtyard with a water body that can function as a swimming pool. The concrete pergolas used in the high ceiling allow light and ventilation to flow through the structure. The water body softens the rough textures of the building. The courtyard acts as a transitional space thereby creating a sense of fluidity and interconnectedness on the inside while melding effortlessly with the outside.

    The swimming pool is placed adjacent to the double height living/dining space in the northern side. The building is placed in the east west direction as that was what the site demanded. The bedrooms on the south west overlooks the landscaped courtyard and and bedrooms on the northwest overlooks the swimming pool.

    On the edge of Aamri village, in the vicinity of the Purna River, 40 kilometers from Surat city, is a weekend getaway called The Weave House. The client had a specific vision of a home that exudes an organic lifestyle, with spaces specifically designed to be meditative and enveloped in verdant greenery.

    The project dwells in a close-knit urban neighborhood near the Pune International Airport. The name “Transparence” comes from the specific behavior of the Villa, having unobstructed views and non embellished interiors. While designing the project, we were affected by the following.     49.Shades of Brown and White | MIAN OFFICE architectural design & research

    Nazar Mansion is a residential apartment, located on Kamal Esmaeil Street, near the Zayandeh-Rud river in Isfahan. One of the most important features of this project site is having a view of the river. A factor that had an effective role in its design. This four-floor building includes a basement (-2.10m), ground floor (+0.80m), and the first and second floors with a total infrastructure area of 1200 square meters.

    The concept for the Fragrant Nature Kochi hotel was inspired by the Colonial ideas of grandeur & luxury coupled with the quaintness of the Fort Kochi neighborhood. The original building was a 200-year-old godown belonging to the British East India Company, the original compound walls of which have been restored and retained as a part of the design.
