For this mid-century modern apartment design, calmness and simplicity is paramount. Resisting the urge to clutter a space, grounding design in nature, and keeping to an effortlessly minimalist style helps to exude a calming sense of tranquility. When every item has its place, spaces are easier to keep neat. Even if not on show, grouping similar things into compartments inside drawers and cupboards makes it easier to keep loose items tidy and means you’ll always know where to find them. A de-clutter feels good and it’s always worth revisiting method for a place to begin.

Scandinavian Design is elegant and functional at the same time. It expresses its elegance through warm and simple tones with a fresh aesthetic to create cosy interiors. In order to achieve Scandinavian Design in the Indian context, one must make use of handmade furniture and decor. Light wooden tones and rattan are great ways to contextualise Scandinavian Design. At the same time, indoor plants also contribute to creating a cosy Scandinavian atmosphere. It is also worth noting that the categorization of these inspiring Scandinavian Design ideas is not in chronological order of the best designs. It is a potpourri of beautiful spaces that offer unique perspectives. However, the main challenge of Scandinavian Design is that it may not fit into many people’s budgets. What can architects and interior designers do to make Scandinavian Design cost-effective?
