The reception area both separated from the workspace through an algorithmically designed back wall expressed in polished exposed birch ply and activated through the grid storage that opens up the courtyard space giving a glimpse of the office space within.

The office is situated in a commercial development consisting of 16 individual blocks placed around a common plot, in the western part of Ahmedabad, The office is spread across two floors – the ground floor has a reception and meeting room near the entry, a larger conference room in the middle and workstations at the rear-end opening onto outdoor plantation; while the top floor has informal workstations and a recreation area with library and coffee bar at one end, while CEO Cabin and meeting room are at the other end looking onto the outdoor terrace.

The work area with the island extends into the reception ensuring that every part of the office not only receives natural light but also offers a majestic view of the JAFZA port. The boardroom, meeting rooms and staff hub were strategically placed to ensure privacy and easy access.

The reception was a pause point in the circulation, not too elaborate, but at the same time something eye-catching right at the entrance. Hence came a curved table and 2 chairs in a niche in the offset of the curve of the table. The wooden and glass louvers acting as a backdrop also gave an effective permeable partition between the reception and the accountant’s cabin behind it. The curves gave a fluid passage at the entrance, which gave a sense of continuity and smoothness, guiding the person inside.

The first look of the store is a huge traditional wooden door, symbolic of the brand’s rootedness in Indian culture. A melange of curves greets one upon entering the store. The reception area houses a large central seating area that can also be transformed into a discussion space.

The traditional arches in this design feature intricate carving details and hand-painted motifs that add depth and texture to the space. The carpet flooring pattern in the reception area creates a subtle yet striking visual interest, while the traditional chandelier adds a touch of glamour and elegance.

The facility houses roughly around 100 employees. Planning is function-driven and consists of a Reception, Huddle rooms, Workstation area and a De-escalating space. As you enter the premise, a small reception welcomes you. It acts as a cross-road between de-escalating area and the formal work space. The design was such to provide formal and informal chance encounters.

The reception table is predominantly white, with a touch of veneer finish for a natural look. It’s adorned with a black deco finish on top, where a sleek metal pole light emerges from a cantilevered part of a top. On the back of the reception is a storage unit with cane shutters & a company name in a black metal above it. Besides that there’s a waiting area with two gigantic royal chairs with black leather upholstery taking this space up a notch.

The lounge area opening into the reception was a private space designed for the doctors complete with luxury. The primary attraction of this space was the warmly lit arched ceiling, counterbalanced by the dark suede furnishings along with an entertainment unit and a strategically concealed storage space behind the geometric wall panelling.

A spacious waiting and reception area with a large reception desk is designed to create a welcoming and a comforting space that will also cater to accommodate large number of patients at a time. Every inch of this Waiting cum Reception cum Connectivity Area were pre-conceived for its multiple utility with a completely minimalistic approach. Storage was confided to utilities with a bright white to allow it merge with the overall interior space and make it look light.

Carefully planned sliding curtains for patients to change also creating a space for nursing babies. Fixed seating for waiting area with loose chairs was a great combination for reception area. A hanging light on top of reception desk is complimenting the curvilinear concept which makes it a highlight element of the entire clinic. The color palatte is taken from the brand logo i.e. green which has been reflected in interior with a touch of venner. The reception is the heart of the clinic. To avoid accidents, the edges of the reception desk has been curved. The space is highlighted with moroccan tiles with ledges to display the Products.

Entrance & Reception Area: This is the first point of contact for clients and should exude professionalism and warmth. The brief received from the client was crisp- it had to be luxurious. While designing the layout, the peripheral columns were incorporated seamlessly, but one column in the reception area was right in the centre of the space. We embraced it as a backdrop and added a stepped pedestal for art installation which will serve as a focal point upon entering.

Entering the office, one is greeted and blessed in the Reception Area in front of the Temple that keeps the space spiritually enlightened. The reception area is highlighted with the use of MCM Cladding as a backdrop. The receptionist sitting besides the Marble Top reception table in front of the large sized window remains connected with the nature and experiences the joy whole day.

The interior of this dental clinic is a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. The reception area is designed with a peach and white theme, with a slightly darker shade of sofa providing a pop of contrast. The walls have a playful touch with a punning design created through a bottom half vertical groove pattern.

Approach to the interior of the office is directed by shaping the volume upon entering the porch, leaving you to an industrial huge sliding metal door. The lounge housing a soft reception counter a planter and materials resonating with the rest of the office. The open shelf behaves as a screen partially.

The reception area had a huge reception table that was organic and had more of a free approach that avoided sharp edges, all the design elements were done in a circular pattern to maintain the theme of the design. The seating consisted of 10-12 people. The reception area was the main highlighting element with planters and creepers and soft lighting to create a calming mood and sofas blending with the theme.

The reception table is finished in lilac duco paint that seamlessly aligns with the clinic’s distinctive brand color. This lilac infusion creates a sense of unity and brand cohesion that extends throughout the space. Even the treatment room doors are not spared from the designer’s touch, featuring accents of that alluring purple hue, framing them with a touch of sophistication. It’s a symphony of design elements that weave together seamlessly, making this space an inspiring showcase of both artistry and functionality.

The lifts open directly into the reception designed with both form and function in mind, balancing the need for a practical and functional space with the desire for a calming and inviting atmosphere. The use of grey terrazzo as a flooring creates a modern base for the space. Entry to the clinic gives a direct access to reception desk which has a pastel blue tone and has clinics logo behind it. Waiting area split into two sections helps to keep patient movement organized. The future office space was handed over to Ilika as a blank slate with only the structural framework in place. Creating the entryway, the firm’s welcoming nature was kept in mind. The entryway has a beautiful sitting space that also doubles as a waiting area, welcoming customers with a reception that is completed with a stone finish.

Once you swing the door, one gets a direct vision of the reception area. The reception is where, an elevated wooden floor hosts an Italian stone finished reception counter against a white background with bold vertical stripes. The logo and name of the organisation are enhanced by a contrast play of colors in the foreground and the background. The blessings of the almighty is the base of any activity we perform and so the pooja-ghar is placed at the entry over the same platform as the reception table.

The reception extends visually into the meeting room to the left and the general manager’s cabin to the right. A partition was created to hide the service core from the central reception area which houses the pantry, washrooms and also the access to the workspace for the staff at large.

The reception area uses a fluted panel as a backdrop and ceiling. The entry partition of a small adjacent meeting room became part of the backdrop design. Grey, white, wood, and these three colors ruled over the entire reception area. The white solid surface and brown laminate finished reception table contrast with the straight design of the reception area.

We followed an overall theme with neutral shades and one pop-up color to enlighten any area. Shera ply with a raw finish and its natural color compliment the gypsum-finished white ceiling. Natural polished veneer and composite stone are used for table tops. A stone-cladded reception unit with a steel blue backdrop and minor use of brass makes the entrance look subtle, decent, and rich.
