In the evolution of workspace aesthetics, the transformation of a ground-floor residence into a first-floor office has given rise to a harmonious blend of minimalism and functional brilliance of the house office design. The journey begins with a sleek staircase adorned with MS flats, leading to the first floor. This ascent is accompanied by a feature wall on the west side, punctuated by terracotta breeze blocks, creating a captivating interplay of light and shadow.
Editor’s Note: The sleek workspace of Archielecto experiments with volume and form through consciously angled walls. Sharp lines are a predominant factor in the interiors, with a combination of contemporary and earthy elements. The parametric ceiling in the conference room and the blue exposed pipes in the workspace are eye-catching elements in this office. – Gopika Pramod

Upon entering through the reception door, one is greeted by an earthy palette. The reception area boasts brick cladding and grey flooring, with the reception table at its centre, strategically dividing the office space to minimize passage wastage.
The reception area bathes in natural light captured through a skylight, complemented by green pockets, eliminating the need for artificial lighting during the day.
The conference and staff area doors seamlessly blend into the reception wall panelling, achieving a clean, doorless aesthetic.
The conference room is a testament to modern design with its parametric theme. Laser-cut wooden louvers take center stage against a subdued grey backdrop.
The conference table follows suit, featuring a parametric base for a cantilevered look. The room is fully automated, ensuring seamless conference settings.
Moving towards the northeast, the staff area exudes a rustic monochrome charm, with exposed ceilings and highlighted conduits.
The blue conduits pop against the monochrome backdrop, adding a touch of vibrancy.
Each area is thoughtfully curated to inspire creativity, promote efficiency, and provide a dynamic and visually stimulating work environment.
It stands as a testament to the power of design in shaping modern workspaces. A central sofa facilitates discussions, accompanied by two small meeting rooms.
Heading south, we encounter an administrative office and two cabins. Cabin 1 exudes luxury with a combination of marble, veneer, and metal.
The subtle beige and teak finish, along with a customized table and sophisticated furniture arrangement, create an elite yet sophisticated atmosphere.
Cabin 2, a designer’s den, embraces minimalism with playful terrazzo flooring and a mandala texture backdrop.
A plain white Korean table and a sofa cum bed arrangement enhance simplicity and comfort, while an attached gallery provides a peaceful view.
To the east lies the Material Gallery, a hub of innovation and convenience. Displaying the latest materials used in various projects, the gallery offers clients a firsthand experience.
The central table with traditional Indian-style seating enhances the client’s experience, and a translucent real stone veneer ceiling light adds a touch of uniqueness.
In conclusion, this office design transcends traditional boundaries, seamlessly integrating aesthetics with functionality. From modular kitchens to stretch ceilings, the space is a visual feast.
A balcony towards the north provides a refreshing break spot, overlooking a jogging track.
