Fixed Windows

An office place happens to be where one spends most of their adult life, honing their skills, working on aims, and making their dreams come true. Siyaahi Architects recently established their workplace in the city of Udaipur, a minimal design studio where art and design meet. Resting in a residential neighborhood, the workstation covers an area of 2200 Sq.ft and folds out into an intimate garden space that faces a well-articulated facade of grey and white. The brainchild of Siyaahi architects is elongated across the length of the plot. The north-face entrance welcomes you with an open lawn area.

Double Door Wooden Widow

Brick House is a project located in a street parallel to the very busy 100ft road in Koramangala, Bangalore. The home is a 30 year old structure with a brief renovation that happened 18 years ago on the ground floor. But this time around, there was a need for the entire home to be done up right from the façade in terms of windows and general colour of the façade. Aspects of traditional and earthy design with minute attention to details encompasses this residence.

Aluminum Framed Corner Windows

A home right in the middle of suburbs or Ahmedabad. A home for a family of two generations living together. The site is located in the suburbs of the city of Ahmedabad. Away from the hustling city, the site is surrounded by green pastures. The site itself is a home to 34 full grown palm trees on the North and Eastern side. As per our understanding of the clients’ requirements, we designed a functional, aesthetic and minimal home that embraces simplicity and grandeur.

Square Windows with corner hinge inside Circular Opening

“There’s wisdom in Natural Simplicity!” This adage proves right for this astounding abode in Vadodara which is simple yet significant in each frame. Ar. Mrugini Pandya, the Principal Architect and Founder of Robust Studio, has conjured up a house where colors take a backseat and the textures and patterns steal the spotlight.

Open Arched Jaali Window

A multi-cuisine restaurant, this dining experience takes one to a different level. “The Masala County”, a grand restaurant with unique interior style which relates to the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. For the entrance zone that is the esteem of the restaurant, we designed the grand entry with wooden lattice. As it enhances the beauty and ambiance which shows the richness of the place. We then designed the Giant central zone which the combines all three zones. To cover this space, we used canvas drape ceiling and customized fiber lamps to give it a one-piece look and the royalness of the place.

Fixed Windows with metal framed arches

A crimson red structure that stands tall amidst a rapidly developing neighborhood – Zonkk’s facade is designed to create intrigue. The 60s inspired graphic art on the facade, embodies the underlying casual free-spirited theme of the space. It wraps around the building, layered with a colonnade of arches. It further creates a visual connection with the activity inside the building. The signage is designed as striking individual letters that embellish the facade. The overall bold form establishes the restobar’s presence in the neighborhood; the crimson red facade of the restobar forms a striking image on the city’s skyline.

Fixed Circular Skylights

In the words of its founders, Raga Svara – the wellness centre focuses on therapeutic, aesthetic, philosophical and ecological wellbeing of oneself in conjunction with the surroundings. Raga’s logo “Pause” indicates all those who enter this green haven to consciously pause in time, reflect, listen to the body in synergy with nature and get rejuvenated in an educational way. With such a clear vision for Raga, the onus on the architects was to make minimal interventions in the existing landscape and have nature takes precedence.

Indoor boxed Fixed Window

We also installed white sleek and modern aluminium sliding doors and windows that not only add to the aesthetics of the house but are also energy-efficient, termite proof and easy maintenance. The entire house was only furnished with blinds on windows which were best-of-class and allowed the flexibility of filtered light into the spaces.

Metal Awning Window

Being an architectural design project, the site and its context proved to be the major source of inspiration for ‘House by the Lake’. Recalling our very first site visit, we remember being entranced by the lake and the spectacle of nature in front of us, a vessel to view and re-unite with nature. This lake-touch parcel of land surrounded by lush greenery on three sides demanded the building of a series of ‘viewing galleries’ entrapped within the notion of a second home rather than the usual ‘off the mill’ bungalow – a captivating house with enchanting views of the lake and hills beyond.

Double Slider Wooden Windows

The brick connection is a house designed for a very simple, well-traveled couple wishing to settle in their homeland, a little away from the chaos of the city. Grounded close to nature, this couple wanted a vastu-compliant house, which reflects this closeness to roots as well as their elegant personality. Very clear with their thoughts and requirements, they wanted their home to be coherent in terms of space utilization and energy efficiency. Double Door Windows facing jaali facade

The 2400 sft EAST facing site located in Malleswaram – is one of the oldest parts of Bengaluru which is highly prestigious and surrounded by beautiful large trees. The initial site conditions contained a house in which the client spent most of his childhood and over many years and with the expansion of the family – it made sense to demolish the old house and allow the new architecture to be subtle yet merge into the old charm which allows the pure forms and spaces to become a backdrop for the family’s lifestyle.

The Blue Channel is a fine dining restaurant that has been entertaining the great and the good, for more than 25 years. Housed in Hotel Sapphire, Haryana, it covers an area of 1300 Sq.ft. Seamless skylight

The Courtyard House by Modo Designs exudes subtle luxury in the urbanized city of Ahmedabad. The site is a vast 45,000 Sq.ft. land in a plotting scheme on the outskirts of the city, where the brief was to design a 4-bedroom house with a living, study, and entertainment area. Also, the owner wanted an open house, hence, the conceptual layout started consisting of courtyards and semi-open verandah spaces.

French Windows

This weekend house for the shah family is situated in the outskirts of Bharuch, Gujarat. Within the dense 50 Year old Chiku plantations which is the main attraction and the challenge while designing the house. Total farm land is about 8 Lakh Sq. Ft out of that we have selected 1,50,00 Sq. Ft of area which is having more than 30 fully grown chiku trees.

This quality is achieved by providing clear glass windows between the eaves and the wall. As the Gable roof is kept floating, natural light enters the inner space from all the four sides. The House of Makeba is an alluring restaurant in Ahmedabad with a resplendent milieu spread across 4500-5000 sq. ft. “THE MESH” is a unique product owing to its form and multi-faceted use. It has many applications, partitions, Window dressings, and even ceiling features, metal curtain serves well for all solutions.

It is a chain-mail mesh made of Aluminium, which is electro-plated to give its unique finish. It is lightweight and tactile and can be customized as per the size and requirements of the space.

Textured Fixed Window

The healthcare design for “Swasthya” – Day Care & Holistic Healing Clinic was planned in a way to facilitate the flow of patients from the public to the private zone. This includes a waiting area- a reception zone that is designed for maximum comfort, a central passage ensuring an easy directional guide, clear signage to OPD cabins, and a designated examination room. We also designed a Ward area with 3 patient beds with oxygen support for Day Care Procedures. Service-oriented spaces included a pantry, nursing station, retiring room, and toilets separate for patient and doctor all located in the rear side zone of the clinic plan.

The site is located within the heart of the serene hills of Kothkai, Himachal. The Apple Farm Stay, a traditional Himachali home restored in vernacular architecture style, is flanked by mountains that kiss the clouds with streams gushing down its slopes and lush green orchards. The existing built-up structure of The Apple farm stay was built in 1920 by the erstwhile Wazir of the princely state of Himachal Pradesh, and now it has been restored to its original glory by us.

3Become1 House is located in Soc Trang, a small city in the Mekong Delta region, with a diversity of nature, culture, and people. This place also preserves many typical architectural marks, intersecting Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer ethnic groups through many different periods.
