Armani gold tiles are used in the entrance, two parallel walls and a TV cabinet giving it a clean and modern look.
A rectangular frame niece with a profile light defines the living, dining and balcony area and links them giving it a distinct character.
The earthy colour pallet can also be seen in the dining area which gives it a simple yet elegant look. The corner of the dining area is uplifted by the tropical wallpaper which gives an additional touch of a tropical vibe and compliments the earthy tone of the space.
The bottled green dining chair compliments the mint tone used in the kitchen and coffee table. The dining unit is a sleek linear fluted unit with an above crockery unit in a fluted glass, it fits in perfectly on a wall and looks like a single unit, which is connected by brick subway tiles in a brown tone of the splash wall.
The Kitchen – Mint green and brown shades can be seen as a colour palette in the kitchen area. Overall linearity is created in the kitchen area which makes the space look big and wide. The kitchen vent is aligned with the overhead unit which gives it a seamless look and maintains linearity.
The indirect diffuse light highlights the mint tone and is running through the overall kitchen area making the space equally lit up.
The Coffee Table – The coffee table acts as an in-between space with a revolving bar chair making it a perfect spot for an afternoon coffee. The mint green subway tiles below the coffee table blend seamlessly with the mint tone of the kitchen.
The passage – The passage which opens to 3 rooms is narrow, long and away from natural daylight so the two parallel French walls is kept in white with makes it look bright along with floor to ceiling profile on wooden blocks which visually connects the foyer and passage with the dining and living area, The end of the passage wall is in the black tinted mirror which visually makes the passage look bigger with the reflection.
The master room – The master room’s main entrance is at the north-east corner and faces the south, it has a big window overlooking the west and common area of the building so placing the bed on the east would block the main entrance and circulation of the room and west would block the view from the room, so the best ideal place is towards the south wall according to the Vastu.
The north wall in front of the bed had two doors side by side giving it no space for a TV unit or dressing which the client needed. So, the North wall with two doors is treated as a single panel with the doors getting flushed to the panels giving it a seamless and holistic look.
The earthy tones can be seen along with the long linear backdrop with floral wallpaper giving it a sense of calmness with indirect diffused lights. The mint green compliments the wallpaper and overall tone of the room. The work desk can also be used as a dressing with a sliding mirror whenever needed.
Daughter’s room – The pastel tone with pink and grey can be seen here justifying Vihana’s love for pink which also gives it the character of a kid’s bedroom.
The bed is towards the south wall and has a beautiful arched bed back along with an arched niche, study is placed in such a way that she can get proper natural light.
The arch niece gives it a unique character which can also be seen in the dressing area which gives a unique identity to the room along with the pastel tones used as a colour palette.
