This 5bhk home designs filters sunlight through sheer drapes into a serene living room layered in greys and warm oak. A suspended wooden swing introduces a sense of nostalgia with a contemporary twist, while fluted wall-to-ceiling detailing beautifully frames the TV.
Graphic cushions, sculptural art, indoor greens, and a permeable wooden partition enrich the space with texture and depth. Adding a distinctive touch, a customized yin-and-yang wall clock becomes a iconic feature that subtly anchors the room’s balanced, contemporary composition.
The 5bhk home design features an open expanse connects the ground floor landing, kitchen, dining, and living areas, thoughtfully articulated to feel natural and airy. A sculptural mint-green perforated screen with circular cut-outs anchors the passage, creating playful transparency. The glass elevator framed in warm wood becomes a sleek focal point, balanced by a floating timber staircase with cable railings.
A sculptural glass chandelier anchors the dining area above a sleek marble table-top bathed in diffused daylight. The mint perforated partition from the passage subtly veils the space, offering privacy without isolation.
A grid-style wall installation featuring a line-art bird becomes the focal point, while neutral upholstered chairs, and soft pastel accents maintain cohesion and understated beauty.
Soft aqua cabinetry defines the kitchen, rising into ribbed overhead panels that add subtle texture. A jewel-toned, handcrafted tile backsplash in layered greens and blues brings movement and depth. Brass-and-glass pendant lights hover above the breakfast counter, while clean white countertops and handle-less drawers maintain crisp, contemporary precision.
This bedroom balances restraint with quiet drama. A wall of pale oak wardrobes, etched with subtle arched grooves, is softened by open cubby niches that is perfect for displaying books and curios.
The expansive grey upholstered headboard, capped with a slim wooden ledge, stretches wide, flanked by seamless wooden side-tables. Opposite, a floating desk and asymmetrical shelves echo the room’s warm timber palette.
A red niche crowns one bedside table, its concealed backlighting casting a soft halo that heightens the room’s quiet drama and deepens the muted timber-and-grey palette.
This Bedroom layers pattern and texture with quiet precision. A perforated white feature wall, framed in warm wood, filters daylight into shifting squares across the bed.
Cane-panelled wardrobes with elongated wooden handles add tactile contrast, while sleek floating bedside tables extend seamlessly from the wall, their clean lines reinforcing the room’s light, architectural rhythm.
This bedroom embraces a softer, sculpted aesthetic. A white geometric feature wall forms a subtle relief backdrop to the plush, curved headboard.
Opposite, a fluted mint panel anchors the TV unit with a slim wooden ledge and low drawers.
A monochrome credenza with bold geometric fronts adds graphic punch, while an oval pivoting mirror introduces gentle movement.
This bedroom composes symmetry with precision: a king bed rests between fluted teak panels, crowned by an arched mural of misty mountains in layered tonal blues. Slender vertical windows frame the headboard.
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes feature circular metal pulls within recessed panels. A recessed window nook forms a quiet reading perch, while the floating vanity’s slim wooden ledge and arched mirror shape a sculpted, light-washed corner.
The mandir is tucked into the first-floor hallway, subtly framed by brass and fluted glass elements. Surrounded by intimate seating arrangements, it becomes a serene pause within the circulation space.
A carved wooden canopy with hanging bells crowns the shrine, while a gold tree motif and fluted unit anchors the sanctum with warmth and quiet reverence.
Designed as an intimate screening lounge, the space centres on a generous projector and oversized screen for an immersive viewing experience. Fluted wall panels and softly recessed vertical insets diffuse sound, sharpening acoustics while adding a sense of linear rhythm.
Overhead, fibre optic lights scattered across the ceiling evoke a subtle starry-sky effect, enhancing the cinematic atmosphere. A curved bouclé sofa faces an oak console, while herringbone flooring leads to a wet bar with a hammered metal base, a glowing onyx table top that lights up from within, a white stone counter, and a backlit arched display.
Reflecting on the design, Ar. Ajal Shah shares, “Our vision was to create a home that feels fluid yet distinct—where every corner carries intention, warmth, and quiet character. We aimed to balance modern clarity with handcrafted soul, shaping spaces that evolve gracefully with the family’s everyday life.”
