Editor’s note : The new interiors of this jewellery store tell a tale of rich finishings catering to the classic prototype. Its beige-drenched fluted interiors highlight the ruling emerald that binds the entire space in unity. Sleek gold finishings run the periphery of the elements, adding a gram of glam. The lighting could have seen a better day in the form of chandeliers and swanky fixtures that would have evidently elevated the user experience. As for now, the insipid spotlights serve the job. ~ Venessa Thomas (Co-Editor)
The color palette ranges from whites to a shade of espresso on the overalls, to moody greens on display. Additionally, the value scale has been used to bring in various shades of neutrals. Textures have also been added to bring dimension to the space.
The primary focus while designing the space was the product – the jewellery on display. The jewellery itself emanates opulence so the display and design need to be thoughtful and effective.
The space available was limited and hence the emphasis to make it functional and still keep the aesthetics paramount. The first step in the efficient design was to anticipate the flux of visitors to ensure efficient zoning. The minimal display at the entrance of the store ensures the visibility of the jewellery.
Displaying jewelry on sage-colored busts/mannequins gives an elegant twist to the traditional reds and browns. The lighting for the store is product-centric, subtle, and ample.
The brown of the timber chairs and the gold of the brass stand out in contrast to the white marble look flooring.
The Gohrisons Jewellery store is the ideal contemporary jewellery store for the new-age adult in you since it is upscale, distinctive, and inviting.
