Our client – a young family of four wanted a home with modern living at its core. The house was to undergo a renovation after 20 years so it needed to be more open, modern yet kid-friendly. Since the family was fond of spending time outdoors, in addition to the garden space on the ground floor, an extended terrace space was asked for on the second floor. The residence styled with modern minimalist interior design using neutral colours, wooden surfaces and brass finishes, all of which had formed the palette for design.

The design language consisted of repetition of vertical lines in various scales with alternative occasional forms to break the monotony.
Special attention was paid to the client’s requirement of the home having a timeless design standpoint. Where nothing should feel too trendy that one would get bored of it in the years to come. Hence, subtle textures and neutral colours were opted for.
The ground floor comes across as a fairly open plan where one can see the kitchen and dining from the living area and vice versa. Therefore, it was very important the spaces sing along and elements complement each other without feeling repetitive.

The staircase was given lined by cables to make the dining area seem larger.
Desert neutrals with some bold cuts for this bedroom designed by us.
A lot of importance was laid on making two rooms for the kids in the house.
Where the play room was designed in pale pastel shades complete with a wooden slide! The kids’ bedroom was conceptualised on a galaxy theme, complete with a moon and a starry sky made out of 120 fibre optic light points.
one was a play cum study room another the kids bedroom.
The terrace on the second floor was one of the transformational spaces in the house where the walls and windows of the family room where changed to open out into a large outdoor space. The terrace works as an extension to the room in the event of a get together.
For the love of designing bathrooms! From selecting the right kind of tile – it’s size, glaze, colour, pattern, texture to picking the right fittings and faucets – so much goes into making the bathroom a perfect blend of functionality and luxury!
