Penthouse By The River: A 4BHK Home With Intricate Interplay Of Textures | The Concept Lab
The concept: A 5,000 square-foot penthouse on the 11th floor of a sky-rise had a lot going for IT space, and on an enviably edited panorama of the river-side, on puffy white clouds, clear blue sky, and the green tops of verdant trees. In a house hanging in the clouds with french windows on every side space, in its absolute abundance became a defining factor. And it began with pairing down the six-bedroom to four-bedroom for this family of three.

The living room is expanded cutting out one bedroom, another room is converted into kitchen and washroom into store area, Actual kitchen space was given for internal staircase. The current master bedroom stands were two-bedroom & no walk-in closet. It was in the bedroom, bathroom & closet areas that we reworked to get luxury of space.
Living Room: The penthouse opens into a spacious living room. An evocative triangular center table in the living room is paired with a beautiful rug and minimalistic blue sofa that accentuates the soft, luxe feeling. The geometrical wall art and grey deewan seating add the perfect amount of coziness to it. The home has been defined by incorporating shades of blue & green throughout. With the intention of allowing an influx of natural light, giving a little touch of wood, and making the greenery a strong focal point. The distinct colors of the decor & furniture complement the entire appearance of the space.
Dining Area: The Living room flawlessly transitions into the dining area. Further, the kitchen is seamlessly connected with the dining & living area creating continuity to the open layout of the space. The combination of distinct elements such as the dining table & other furniture crafted in metal, Italian marble, wood, glass & Paint finishes, create an intricate interplay of texture. A gorgeous hanging light is provided in the center of the table to combine the ambiance.
Master Bedroom: To create a master bedroom the merging of two bedrooms to create a large, expansive master suite with a hidden walk-in wardrobe & restroom was done. The Master bedroom has been designed by keeping wooden tones in mind & giving extra luxurious touch by adding vertical profile lights.
Parent’s Bedroom: In contrast to the master suite, this space is more laid-back, the room features wooden flooring & wallpaper making the bedroom a comfortable & restful environment for the parent who visits occasionally. The Vastu-compliance of planning principles, driven by the belief of the client comes into play throughout the home. hence, the bed is kept against the window heading to the south & various other changes were made.
Guest Bedroom: The guest room replicates minimalism with an essence of blue hue characterized by simplicity, clean lines, and a monochromatic palette with a color used as an accent. In all the room speaks calm and soothing.
Daughter’s Bedroom: There are various ways of treating walls. Striped walls enhance interiors in an instant! Used this cheat to create a subtle yet popping drama for a 10-year-old daughter’s room. Keeping every other detail clean in a neutral palette to let the stripes be in the spotlight.
