  • A Residence where Open Plan of Spaces Prevail | Aakashi Mehta Designs

With beige tones and intricate veins of veneer, the open plan of this residence helps to highlight the pieces of designed elements.

A harmonious fusion of architectural ingenuity and interior design prowess unfolds, creating a living space that embodies both elegance and efficiency. The architectural plan prioritizes an open and spacious layout, thoughtfully optimizing the ingress of natural light into every corner of the space. The use of an open plan design facilitates a fluid spatial experience, effortlessly connecting various living zones, fostering an overall sense of unity and coherence.

Editor’s Note: The home is the epitome of abundant minimalism, with a subtle intention behind every stroke yet never subdued. The POP wainscot, fabrics, and indoor greens add layers to the white living room walls, with hints of wood emerging slowly from the corners as one traverses, ending with the breathtaking interplay of light and shadow on the terrace. – Gopika Pramod

A residence where Open Plan of Spaces Prevail | Aakashi Mehta Designs

    The façade design

Externally, the structure adopts a minimalist aesthetic characterized by clean lines and a restrained color palette, predominantly composed of soothing beige and earthy tones. This serves as a canvas for the architectural composition to make its distinctive mark.

    Living area

Upon crossing the threshold into the living room, one is immediately immersed in a paradigm of minimalist design.

A judicious selection of materials, including wood and Italian flooring, converges seamlessly to create a contemporary yet timeless ambiance. The decor is characterized by crisp lines.

    Dining area

Transitioning to the dining area, modernity and elegance take center stage. Here, the chairs are distinguished by their brass-finished legs, a subtle yet striking detail that complements the minimalistic theme.

    Kitchen

Adjacently, the kitchen exhibits a tonal harmony, painted in a palette of understated greys and beiges, harmonizing effortlessly with the dining area, thus maintaining an uncluttered and streamlined aesthetic.

    Parent’s bedroom

A functional and soothing parents’ room with window-side seating for comfort and casual relaxation. The bed features a dark pastel textile backrest, adding a highlight to the calming color palette. An abstract vertical mural on the TV wall blends seamlessly with the room’s aesthetic, adding an artistic touch.

    Guest bedroom

In the guest bedroom, an inviting aura is crafted through the incorporation of a three-dimensional floral art installation that emerges from the wall behind the bed. This artistry, rendered in a pristine white, exudes an ethereal charm. The bed’s backrest becomes a focal point, distinguished by a contrasting color palette, all while ensuring comfort is not compromised.

Tranquil temple design, features a soothing wood, white, and golden palette. The divine idols take center stage against a backdrop of timeless traditional design in a luxurious golden hue.

    Master bedroom

The master bedroom harmoniously marrying classicism with minimalism and luxury. The continuity of marble flooring extending onto the walls, complemented by wooden paneling featuring brass linings, creates a modern, soothing, and impactful retreat.

The master bedroom’s bath space is showcasing timeless white classic marble, exuding an air of sophistication and grandeur. The blend of the floor and the wall through the white marble adds a tactile warmth and delightful sight.

However, the separate dressing area serves the purpose with huge mirror and sliding wardrobe on either sides – exhibiting minimal line art over beige canvas.

    Kid’s bedroom

In the son’s room, design acumen shines brightly with a bed that is an artful masterpiece, blending aesthetic appeal with functionality. Linear design elements provide order and serenity, while a daring black marble wall behind the TV adds a touch of audacity to the ambiance.

Walk-in closet seamlessly integrated with the en-suite bathroom. A bold and classy statement is made with a unique design feature: a fluted glass partition framed in sleek black. This element not only separates the closet from the bathroom but also adds a touch of modern elegance to the space.

    Terrace area

The terrace, a quintessential transition space between indoors and outdoors, evokes a sense of an intimate plaza. It features an innovative geometric flooring pattern which adds an artistic dimension to this outdoor expanse.

In every facet of this dwelling, from the master bedroom to the artful allure of the guest bedroom, and from the serenely minimalistic living room to the inviting outdoor plaza-like terrace, architectural and interior design principles coalesce to craft a living environment that is both technically sound and aesthetically remarkable. It’s a testament to the power of design in creating spaces that seamlessly integrate form and function.
