The designers defined the architecture through a minimal palette, using exposed concrete ceilings and a robust brick façade to create a durable and layered textures.
A double-height entrance door leads into layered volumes, creating a triple-height dining space that merges with the temple, forming the spiritual and spatial core.
An open-to-sky courtyard, wrapped by sculptural staircases, draws in light and ventilation, becoming a dynamic pause within the home.
The program unfolds across formal and informal living areas, an office, an outdoor art studio, five en-suite bedrooms, and a home theater. Layered textures, along with gardens, water bodies, and sculptures, extend the experience beyond the interiors.
Interiors soften the architectural rigor through a nuanced material language. Wooden tones, rattan cane, brass, and neutral backdrops are punctuated with muted pastels and bold accents.
Custom furniture and lighting introduce a strong geometric identity—arched panels, fluted surfaces, and graphic compositions lend rhythm and depth. Bedrooms remain calm yet tactile, while bathrooms feature expressive mosaic surfaces.
Art is seamlessly embedded, from curated pieces to integrated wall compositions, reinforcing the client’s sensibility. A careful balance of clean lines and gentle curves ensures cohesion.
SapanoUday ultimately reads as a layered home—where structure, craft, and art converge in a composed yet expressive narrative.
