The client, along with his wife and two children, decided to shift to a new home in Pune. However, the house had been unused for a long period of time and needed to be renovated. The client wanted a big space for their children to play in a modern minimalist and functional home in contemporary settings.

The biggest challenge in this whole project was to create a spacious-looking space with ample storage. There’s no magic wand you can wave to make your home larger. We completely redeveloped the home, perceiving more space by applying some basic design principles like using mirrors.
The color palette of the house is brown and grey, which has been continued in the interiors as well. The entire furniture has a teakwood finish, whereas the walls and ceiling have been painted in light grey.
The usage of beige-colored terrazzo flooring provides an appropriate background for the furniture pieces, paintings, etc. Just like the outdoor landscape, the usage of the diamond shape is an important feature of the interior design. It is evident in the design of the dining area, the ceiling of the living room, and the main door.
The modern home is a masterpiece created with great attention to detail, a harmonic aesthetic, and a house designed with the thoughtful blending of styles in contemporary settings. It is a 1450 sq. ft. exterior and interior project. The entry of the house is highlighted by a large foyer with stone and glass.
The USP of this project is the elevation design, which was an exercise in putting a new envelope around the old house without disturbing the functionality, giving a warm look to the house. In order to break the monotony, black stone slats have been introduced at regular intervals.
Beds, pillows, lamps, nightstands, whether you’re an aspiring interior designer or just want to give your own home a little makeover, the bedroom can be a challenging place to make feel well designed, because it’s all about coziness and functionality.
The essence of interior design will always be about people and how they live. It is about the realities of what makes for an attractive, civilized, meaningful environment.
