Nested in the Ahmedabad city, sprawling around 2500 sq. ft. of area, this 4bhk Apartment which is designed for a family of 5 has a character of sophistication and calmness. This luxurious space was created with the clients’ growing family in mind and making sure that the duplex home is an extension of themselves and not just a space they occupy. The client, his brother and their spouses wished to have a luxurious design with a touch of wooden palette and a play of lines & edges in every space.

As you approach the abode, the entrance door is very simple yet subtle yet rich looking, completely made of polished veneer. The grooves carved into the jali and main door design elevate the overall character
The living room is the space where the family wants to spend time together to unwind. It would also receive guests and visitors. The spacious living room was designed to host multiple activities at any given point in time.
The room is designed with customised furniture and a dominating white palette with a hint of coral.
The client is a very spiritual person, and his interests were reflected in the corner of the living room. A small compact mandir with a mesmerizing carving wooden design displaying authentic traditional touch. To add more beauty, a frame of lord ”Swaminarayan“ is hung overlooking the dining space and the space above the staircase.
The Mandir is accompanied by a typical traditional ‘jhula’. Jhula offers multiple seating options inthe living room. The color scheme is natural wood and blues are used for an upholstery to add vibrancy
The bar counter and stool also add drama to the space.
After walking further to the right of the swing, the space opens to the dining and modular kitchen area. The element of interest in the space is the green dado wall of the material back-painted glass, between the shelf and the countertop.
The crockery unit behind the dining table is yet making another statement as one can witness both elegance and functionality gripping in the design.
The splash of color green continues to enhance the neutral color palette of the master bedroom in the form of fabric above the headboard. An arch display unit of the material backlit fluted glass with gradient color is certainly an eye-catching element besides the TV Unit.
The bedroom is designed as a space that welcomes and calms sense, while being functionally attractive at the same time. The black back-painted glass above the headboard with wooden louvers over each side draws one’s attention.
The gray couch or the sitting lounge beside the window is a thoughtful corner where one can connect with nature or can be used as a space during refreshment hours or working hours.
While each with a soul of its own, all bedrooms find a commonality with the rest of the spaces that binds them together, here as a kid to the parent bedroom.
The natural tone of wood in a geometric shape and shape of the house demarcates the playful space with a touch of modern style.
Attached to the master bedroom is a guest room which also acts as a family room. It is a perfect space for the family to bond, relax and watch TV. The room is designed in such a way that it can also provide an abode to the guests.
The private terrace came with ample space for playful gathering, in the form of a four seater table and another swing. The space remains true to the theme of the house justifying “light and lines
