The Gilded Minimal is a thoughtful blend of restrained elegance and luxurious detail, reflecting modern interior design styles suited for contemporary living within the constraints of urban space. From the very first step into the foyer with its stunning golden brass inlay in marble flooring and a grand crystal chandelier, the space sets a tone of quiet opulence.
The Gilded Minimal is a Refined Take on Modern Interior Design Styles | Interiors by Ar. Manasi Bhatt
To set a luxurious tone right from the entrance, we incorporated golden brass inlay in the marble flooring, bringing in an element of opulence and continuity throughout the home. An elegant crystal chandelier overhead further enhances the space, creating a grand and welcoming ambiance for anyone stepping in.
We used a palette of nude and soft neutral tones to visually expand the space and keep the environment airy and elegant. The walls feature self-textured wallpaper that adds subtle character without overwhelming the room.
Custom monochrome furniture and a bespoke carpet featuring delicate golden threadwork contribute to a harmonious yet dynamic aesthetic. Layered lighting plays a key role in accentuating different design elements, adding warmth and depth to the overall ambiance.
To enhance the sense of openness, we added a full mirror wall in the dining area, creating a seamless visual extension of the space. The kitchen was designed with both aesthetics and practicality in mind. A central island with bar stools was added, making it a convenient spot for quick meals, socializing, or extra prep space — blending functionality with modern design.
Originally a six-bedroom apartment becomes a five-bedroom home, with one room transformed into a spacious walk-in wardrobe and home office to suit the client’s needs.
The children’s bedroom was designed to be playful yet functional, featuring a cantilevered bunk bed to maximize floor space and encourage creativity.
Each bedroom carries its own personality while maintaining a cohesive design language that emphasizes comfort and sophistication.
