A design & build residence project which is very close to our hearts because of its sheer simplicity and little pop of colors. The moment one enters this home, they are engulfed with a feeling of warmth and coziness owing to a very relaxing color palette of turquoise and blues on a canvas of neutrals that soothe the soul.
The transition between the living and dining area establishes the design language with low-height “Indian-bethak” style seating accompanied by a bookshelf.
The sober-highlight trim wall behind the sofa is a beautiful assemble creating a European ambiance for the living room along with the doors of all rooms.
The subtle barrier between the living room and dining space acts as a strong identity for the space by functionally dividing the space. The fluted panel for the TV unit adds to the contrast of the neutral-toned partition.
Grey tinted mirror wall amps up the drama by providing an extended perception of the space with a beautiful reflection of an all-white kitchen. There is an attempt to establish or generate an interaction for a modern-day family by creating a two-step service platform. This element of furniture not only divides the space but also provides a threshold for the kitchen and the activities going on within.
Shades of Blue and wood have been evidently used in Parent’s bedroom with a cozy alcove space for a perfect night-time reading corner.
On the other hand, the study room is an appropriate combination of Guest Bedroom cum WFH (work from home) space with a beautiful world map acting as a backdrop.
The material pallet consists of ceramics, brass inlay, and fluted panelled walls; making every corner of the house well-lit and airy. The Balanced style of neutrals and highlights informs the color pallet and material scheme.
The Master Bedroom is all about sophistication and richness in its interiors and material pallet. The Beige headboard with a semi-circular mirror is the key highlight of the room.
Overall, this space narrates tonal highlights and contrasting textures to provide a calming and relaxing experience for the user.
Abode 502, depicts an overall journey of interactive spaces with meaningful pause points having various experiences to offer for different users.
