A Unique Color Scheme In This Compact 3BHK Apartment | Simplécede

The white washes, blue seas, beige sand, lush green, pops of many shades that shine bright in a very mellow sunshine. With 1285 sqft area and built up area of 1540sqft, each space has a unique color scheme in this compact 3BHK apartment. Some subtle, some bold but a definite character. And when it all comes together as a whole it exudes a very Mediterranean Palette.

So it is with the residing family of a couple, two kids and a cute little pet. Each with their own unique personalities, but together as a family they fill up the home with warmth, love and laughter, like a true Mediterranean fare.

The highlight of the living is a white sunbathed bookshelf against the TV unit. With the clients’ passion for books and a bigger passion for everything housed in a right sized space, the unit is designed with shelves in varied layers and heights just so every book can find its true space.

They are a pop of colours against the white backdrop alike the mediterranean islands. Perpendicular to the TV wall is Crockery cum multi-functional unit, carved within a pre-existing niche. Both these wall units are done in white and interestingly tied by a veneer band running across them to make for an integrated frame.

The gathering side of living with its subtle back panel is complemented with colourful decor, bringing both the European and African sides of Mediterranea In a single frame.

From the living, one cannot miss the island cooking counter done in a very lush green, black & veneer palate. A specially customised colour to give the kitchenette a very Starbucksy feel.

The Island Hob in the middle is closely accessible to the preparation counter on one side and cozily interacts with the dining on the other side. Thus giving an open feel in an otherwise compact space.

Around the kitchen is the daughter’s room. Bright blue, white and a subtle beige gives it a very Greek, islandic feel. A specially created deck is a multipurpose space to lounge, to stretch, to read, to play and if there is a guest, it can turn into a bed.

Son’s bedroom on the other side is in a mellow tone, which shines bright when first rays fall on it. Designed, so that the goofy boy can have ample central space to assemble a toy at one time and dissemble a perfect toy to dissect its inside.

The last but another highlight is the Master bedroom, subdued and sophisticated in a very beige tonality. Together it weaves a compelling composition. Complementing Warm hues of curtains in the room and the rays seeping through it, invites for a snuggle alike a Nap on a Mediterranean beach!

A very petite bookshelf welcomes as one enters the room. At the bottom of the shelf, a ledge runs across with a specially carved out magazine holder.
