We have given the title ‘BROKEN CONTACT’ for this project. Our client wanted a house which is modern, yet have few features from his hometown i.e Kerala. The concept of design for the bungalow was to go with cool colours in which we added a traditional feel . Wooden columns, paintings and other elements were added, which kept intact our concept of the Kerala-themed traditional home with a modern touch.

Each room has elegant interiors with the best possible play of natural sunlight through screens. There are artificial lightings in each room, enhancing the blend of different materials explored in one space, making every inch of the space worth living. This design is the best example of modern contemporary living.
Actually every corner of the bungalow has my heart how it turned out so well after many challenges but one part which I loved the most is the gateway into this modern design home, the foyer area builds interest and expectations for the rest of the home to live up to. The highlight of this foyer is the painting above the console.
Our ideology was to keep balance between traditional and modern style. We The challenge was the selection of materials and the development of the lines that governed the spaces. The aim was to keep the design aesthetic of the entire apartment neutral in a way that one space flows into another seamlessly. The interiors of each of the rooms are modern-contemporary and unique in their own way.
We faced many challenges while designing like in the furniture choosing the clients where very choosy according to there space and we went with there suggestion but at last after doing many trials , finally we decided to go with our own style in furniture in which we added there colors , style etc.
The striking dining room is a show of magnetism and style. Oozing glam from every inch, this space has layers of minimalism, maximalism, of modernism and of traditionalism blended together. The white marble dining table with wooden legs completed with bespoke chairs is classy and elegant. The eccentric art piece is the focus point of this room and brings together the colour scheme of the entire area.
The master bedroom, is classic and understated, with a paneled behind the bed. The upholstered bed, tinted glass wardrobe, night stands and a TV unit, all make the space come together. The halo night stand lamps and chandelier, accentuate the paneling further.
One of our favorite things here was creating the color scheme so it was relaxing but not too bland, and mixing the warm light and white wardrobe and decor details with cold tones of the rest of the decoration and furniture, created the look we wanted. Concrete, plaster, wood, and steel are the materials used to make the space look modern, reasonably eclectic, and eye-pleasing.
The bedroom has a modern and traditional touch with beautiful frames on the wall they indicates the kerala tradition. It has a balcony with a big opening door .
Daughters bedroom with grey and pink shades of color with wooden flooring .In Daughters bedroom the wardrobe designed in fluted form.
Here the headboard is of veener and the wall is a stone slab with the luvers and strip of profile light. The expectations of client was a creative and unique interior designing.
The space should be kept in consider using modern and traditional design. Whole design process they wanted was very luxurious way. Requirements of clients was luxurious , unique style , etc . And one thing they keep telling us to keep that traditional feel while designing the house.
