  • Immersive Experience Center with Dynamic Design Language and Evolving Aesthetics | Aarna Architects

    [Sassy_Social_Share]

To achieve our dynamic design intent we went about designing 9 bays of display having 3 kitchens, a bar, living area, dining and bedrooms with their accessories all manufactured to our design specifications by the manufacturer. This was done to show the extent of customization possible working with the manufacturer.

Immersive Experience Center with Dynamic Design Language and Evolving Aesthetics | Aarna Architects

    Visit: Aarna Architects

We have integrated Indigenous art and art forms such as Mandala Art, Cane partitions, Textile printing blocks, Lime based textured walls and floors, hand made arts and artefacts among others by working closely with artisans from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.

These panels being demountable with ease gives ample scope for the manufacturer to replace with newer materials or finishes as and when required.

The whole essence of the space can be defined as an immersive experience centre which is dynamic and constantly evolving aimed at engaging the client with every step she/he takes or space she/he sees.

With newer finishes coming up in the market at a rapid pace, our clients have the flexibility to showcase them while the concept, back bone and superstructure of the overall space remains constant.

We have attempted and associated with artisans and artists who create hand made furniture, paintings, carving amongst other hand made artefacts despite the space being a modular products experience centre, as a home is to be a harmonic balance between modular and non modular elements.

While there are many manufacturers having the best in class products, we wanted to create a best in class dynamic experiential space for the manufacturer to display, modify/ change and ever evolving (based on the evolution in materials), while keeping it user friendly, immersive and realistic mock ups both for the store owner and the clientele.

We have integrated Indigenous art and art forms such as Mandala Art, Cane partitions, Textile printing blocks, Lime based textured walls and floors, hand made arts and artefacts among others by working closely with artisans from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Inspired by Mandalas we have collaborated with artists where we had a canvas hand painted and subsequently sandwiched between glass panels to create a wardrobe shutter. Macramé has also been customized to add to while correlating to the Mandalas.

We had block prints from Rajasthan carved in wood representing various mandalas . We further went ahead to design lighting luminaires using these wooden block printed mandalas for one of the kitchen exhibits.

Vertical panels have been designed such that they form dynamic design partitions to between bays and the central zone. These panels are exhibits themselves following the same design language as the ceilings i.e These panels being demountable with ease gives ample scope for the manufacturer to replace with newer materials or finishes as and when required based on changes in the market.
