Luxurious Residence Interior Featuring Repertoire Of Sophistication | Azure Interiors

Luxurious Residence Interior Featuring Repertoire Of Sophistication | Azure Interiors

A rare amalgamation of Vintage and Contemporary, the project by Azure, a leading design firm, resides in the bustling city Raipur which demystifies the ancient and urban culture represented as one of the heritage capital globally.  Enchanting the rhythms of clean slated lines in the villa pronounces the statement ‘Home is where the family lives in’. An epitome of luxury each space is crafted with love and nurtured with care alluring the chic yet sophisticated ambience consisting of two-storey that includes four bedrooms, a large sitting area possessing a blend of hues much suited to the form and functionality of the theme.

Empanelling marble and wood work teamed up with marble artefacts and rich texture gives it a regal touch. An open kitchen comprising advanced technology with connectivity to the other portions and a unique theatre room with leather seating cherishing memories of togetherness. The fondness of nature can be witnessed through its garden area.

Tricky though but a triumph, the natural light breathes through every nook and corner thus keeping the Vastu quotient in place. The semi-circular couch in the living room is engulfed with petite elements; the two tan chairs in the drawing rooms, the dining table with a metal inlay made of real horns add substance to the interiors. Drawing Room Is warm, cozy, and rich in textures, we have given mirror to give an enlarged look to the space. The walls are beautifully panelled with marble and wood work. The right placement & choice of artifacts completes the look & feel.

The bedrooms are designed for comfort and luxury. The parents’ bedroom is earthily filled with subtlety. The jute wallpaper, white wooden carved bed resembles aristocracy. The four-poster white wooden carved bed and the cane work day bed along the window takes the main credit of this room, to highlight the furniture we have given mustard and blueprinted tiles on the floor, jute wallpaper on the other hand gels well with the whole look.

The master bedroom is treated with silk backdrops while the bed draws the attention with an attached dressing area. Each of them have the drawers stationed beside the bed grazing the monotony of the space. The classic vintage ambience is an éclat of vintage charm just out of a postcard from the ’80s.

The large chandeliers grooming from the dual heightened ceiling create a dramatic affair to the muted shades. “Chandeliers are marvels of drop-dead showiness, the solitaire of any bungalow;” mentions the designers. Seamless to one’s eye the exclusivity of the home is in all glory of the modern ancient world and present-day interiors.

Our brief was to design a house for a family of 5 members- 3 adults and 2 kids. A family with a large group of friends and extended family, they preferred an expansive living room to accommodate large gatherings. A small yet spacious drawing room for intimate gatherings with an opulent ambiance. For easy access to the kitchen, they preferred a partially open kitchen which could be fully closed during intimate gatherings. Since they have two kids who love being around nature, they desired a vast garden space for their kids to play. The family loves watching movies together, and thus had a home theatre on their list of requirements.

The colour palette of the house consists of clean neutral colours with a tinge of gold and black in the living room, guest room & master bedroom balanced with veneer throughout. The mother’s room was designed keeping in mind a classic vintage ambiance with white walls, printed tiles in blue and mustard and cane and wooden furniture which she loved.

It was an old bungalow with a classical semi circled living area as the most interesting part of the entire house. We made a lot of major changes all over the house but couldn’t disturb the round wall. Whole idea behind all civil changes was to bring in a lot of sunlight in each area, with optimum use of every inch of the house, we were able to make it look breathable and spacious

The most challenging part was to bring in natural sunlight into the house without disturbing any parts of the structure. We incorporated windows in the curved duplex wall on the east so the morning light travels inside the house. Keeping in mind modern interiors and low maintenance, we designed the 27′ wall with stone cladding and Italian marble.
