This home blends soft, pastel tones with clean, understated interiors, resulting in a space that feels both calm and inviting.
Color plays a central role in the design, breathing life into every corner of the residence. The palette leans toward gentle pastels like mint green, blush pink, pastel blue, and grey. These subtle shades beautifully complement the neutral white walls. These shades create a soothing and airy atmosphere, where every room feels open yet intimate.

To add texture and interest, soft furnishings such as drapes, cushions, and throws were selected with care. Incorporating subtle prints and fabrics adds a layer of warmth to the minimalist design. Artworks were deliberately kept understated, allowing the overall aesthetic to shine while still adding an artistic flair to the space.
The challenge of working with pastel hues lies in maintaining balance, ensuring the space doesn’t feel too colorful or overwhelming. By thoughtfully blending pastel colors with neutral tones, the design achieves a harmonious equilibrium. The result is a home that feels light, tranquil, and effortlessly stylish.
Upon entering, a compact yet effectively designed foyer greets us. A pastel green cabinet, paired with oak wood finishes and black accents, sets the tone for the home. This subtle combination of colors and materials creates a welcoming prelude to the spaces that follow.
A pastel blue sofa, reversible swing, and small bench offer both functionality and style to the living area. The room’s color palette of pastel green, ivory, and grey stands in contrast to the warm earthy tones of the oak wood TV unit, which cleverly conceals modern gadgets without disrupting the minimalist design.
Transitioning into the dining area, the space is thoughtfully divided to create a dedicated zone for puja. A movable partition made of cane, brass, and wood separates the puja space, which is adorned with antique brass doors, fluted glass, and traditional wood carvings, evoking the look of a classic temple. This delicate balance of modernity and tradition adds depth and character to the home.
The handcrafted marble dining table and chairs with a matching swing-backrest design mirrors the design detail, ensuring continuity in the design narrative. The crockery unit, finished in fluted pastel blue and ivory, adds another layer of charm with a custom ceramic artwork, reflecting the entire home’s pastel theme.
Though compact, the kitchen is a testament to thoughtful design. Pastel blue laminate and sleek black accents blend with soft wood finishes to create a space that feels both functional and aesthetically pleasing. A sliding door separates the kitchen from the utility area, while frosted glass doors let in natural light, maintaining an open feel.
The sliding door in the living room is not only functional but also a key design element that enhances the aesthetics of the space. When closed, it provides privacy for the two bedrooms, but when open, it acts as a piece of art, complementing the color palette of the room and serving as a focal point. This kind of design is a great example of blending form and function, where an essential feature of the house also elevates the overall interior style.
The master bedroom is a sanctuary of soft colors and cozy textures. Mauve grey and pastel green paired with wooden accents, create a tranquil atmosphere. Storage is seamlessly integrated without compromising on style, with a tuck-in wardrobe featuring soft wood tones.
A second wardrobe with fabric-sandwiched shutters adds both color and texture, complemented by a carefully chosen bed back and fluted chester that elevate the room’s aesthetic.
In the parents’ bedroom, simplicity reigns supreme with white and gold accents. The pastel wallpaper and headboard inject just the right amount of color and character, ensuring the room feels peaceful yet personal.
