A Sophisticated Urban Cafe That Seamlessly Integrates With Nature | Studio Skapa Architects
As you venture into the urban cafe’s property from the main road a minimal monochrome branding wall welcomes you and doubles as a privacy barrier.
Walking further down, a Sun kissed experience of the outdoor seating covered by a glass canopy with a beautiful olive-green fabrication leads you straight to the coffee bar – the heart of the urban cafe.
Chicly clad with pastel green subway tiles laid vertically, the front façade elegantly pops against the backsplash that houses white subway tiles laid in a herringbone pattern. A traditional Pizza oven clad in green and white mosaic chips adds a sense of playfulness to the space.
The main Kitchen is visible through a toughened glass facade creating a sense of transparency.
The lighting enhances the experience of a Bali themed café with rattan pendant lamps hanging over the island counter and the terrazzo dining tables.
This split-level cafe creates a contrast of an indoor-outdoor experience with the first floor inviting diners into a quiet ambience overlooking the lush green surroundings.
A trio of arches welcomes you displaying merchandise and adding a sense of subtle grandeur.
An earthy peach hue is introduced on this floor that harmoniously makes its way through the space, seen in the grouting for the tiles on the island counter, the back of the display arches and soft fabrics of furniture.
The café offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It provides a tranquil space for patrons to connect with nature and their community.
