    Project Timeline and Approach

The project commenced with drafting and 3D modeling, which provided a comprehensive visual representation of the final design for client approval. Once the design team agreed upon the design, they began the execution phase immediately to meet the tight deadline. Throughout the construction process, the simultaneous planning of various features, such as the vertical garden and other elements, ensured timely and cohesive implementation.

    Glasshouse Structure

The glasshouse replaces the existing garden space while maintaining a connection with nature. Moreover, the extensive use of glass allows natural light to flood the interior, creating a bright and airy ambiance.

The design uses woodwork details, including sleek louvre panels, extensively to add warmth and texture. The juxtaposition of wood against the glass enhances the modern, contemporary style while offering a classic touch.

    Vertical Garden Integration

With a solid wall positioned behind the glasshouse, an opportunity arose to design a stunning vertical garden. The wall, previously a window niche, treated with Limocoat, creates a refined backdrop for the garden.

The vertical garden brings a natural element into the space. Thus, serving as a green focal point that complements the glass structure’s transparency.

    Water Feature

A classy fountain was incorporated into the design, providing a tranquil and elegant atmosphere. The gentle flow of water adds a dynamic element to the space, enhancing the overall sense of serenity.

    Outdoor Garden Area

While the main garden was transformed into the glasshouse, a portion was retained as a small, landscaped garden. This space serves as an intimate outdoor retreat, surrounded by tropical plants that echo the greenery within.

    Execution and Challenges

The fast-tracked schedule demanded meticulous coordination to ensure that the drafting, 3D modeling, approvals, and construction phases flowed seamlessly. Simultaneously planning the vertical garden, water feature, and other details required agile decision-making and close collaboration with contractors.
