    The Vision Behind the Design

However, the inspiration for Times Café comes from a deep passion for retro-futurism. Jaymin Jinger, Principal Designer at J ARC Studio, drew on childhood memories of Marvel comics and classic Hollywood films.

These stories were filled with futuristic chambers, bold metallic structures, and the unmistakable allure of red accents. Moreover, the café’s unique ceiling installation was sparked by the idea of curvy curtain lights. Furthermore, it evolved into a striking metal net sculpture that defines the space.

However, this love for cinematic aesthetics and futuristic elements seamlessly blends into the café’s overall design. Thus, making it feel like a space pulled straight from a sci-fi film set.

A Play of Red and Grey

The café’s design revolves around a striking color palette of red and grey. The vibrant red symbolizes attraction and energy, while the concrete grey exudes rustic purity and raw sophistication. This duality creates a space that is both dramatic and inviting. Thus, it is perfect for patrons seeking a sensory escape.

Ceiling Innovation: Where Art Meets Illumination

Additionally, the ceiling design is a centerpiece of the café’s ambience. Crafted with flowing metal curves, it integrates indirect LED lighting, casting ethereal glows and forming stunning patterns. This unique lighting system eliminates the need for traditional lighting fixtures and immerses visitors in a futuristic atmosphere from the moment they step in.

    The Party Room

A Futuristic Wonderland The party room is nothing short of a visual spectacle. Drawing inspiration from futuristic chambers, it features Bearbrick figures suspended from the ceiling in red acrylic boxes, paired with dynamic lighting. This avant-garde setup transforms any gathering into an unforgettable experience.

Cafeteria Charm with a Retro-Tech Twist

In the main seating area, the design philosophy extends seamlessly. The curved lighting from the ceiling mirrors the fluid forms of the custom-made tables and chairs.

The walls are adorned with vibrant artwork, infusing the space with bursts of creativity and energy, making it the perfect spot for conversations and coffee breaks.

    The Bold Smoking Zone

Taking center stage in the café’s front elevation, the smoking zone is drenched in a monochromatic red theme.

Hidden curvy lines beneath the red paint create a sense of visual flow, subtly connecting the café’s exterior with its interior design language. This space is impossible to miss and instantly draws attention.

    Bar Counter: A Dual-Tone Marvel

The bar counter area is a showstopper, designed with a dual-tone aesthetic. Slate stone cladding adds texture and depth, while a rippled metal sheet ceiling enhances light reflection, creating a lively and warm vibe. The pièce de résistance? A moon-inspired artwork adorning the entrance wall, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience.
