We had the privilege of working on a magnificent modern traditional house project at The Embassy on Ali Askar Road in Bangalore, where we blended elegance with practical usage while maintaining a luxurious feel. Complete freedom from clients for designing this home and thus a dream project for us. The 2,800-sq. ft. home includes a living area, dining area, kitchen, four balconies, and three spacious bedrooms, one of which has been converted into a TV room. Nexion onyx finish tile flooring adorns the entire home, adding a touch of opulence.
This Modern Traditional House is a Blend of Elegance with Practicality | CreareDecore Studio
Our design philosophy for this project embraced a modern traditional theme. It is characterized by earthy and welcoming colors and textures.
The use of pure wood defines the elegance of each customized piece. It showcases the skill and precision of our artisans.
The home features all bespoke pieces of furniture that beautifully enhance each individual space. Furthermore, the concept of print-on-print has been seamlessly integrated into many areas.
The choice of soft textures, floral patterns, and natural materials all work together to create a serene and stylish space that feels both luxurious and comfortable.
However, this design balances modern elements with traditional Indian-inspired details, making it an ideal modern sanctuary.
Each room, adorned with pastel hues and distinct themes, accentuates the spaciousness while simultaneously creating a unique ambiance.
The home includes exquisite elements such as Rotherby wallpaper from Zoffany, wallpapers from Nilaya by Sabyasachi. Additionally, a Sarita Handa chair, printed tiles in the balconies from Ceramique, and rugs from Jaipur Rugs.
Furthermore, to enhance the aesthetic, works by artists like G Subramanian, Avijit Dutta, and Basuki Das Gupta have been included. It adds a touch of sophistication to the client’s collection.
Additionally, we have used soft furnishings from Sarita Handa, GoodEarth India, and Drapes Avenue Bangalore. We sourced the wallpapers from HomeStories Bangalore. Accessories sourced from GoodEarth India, Fab India, Chairs and Company Bangalore, Oma, and others form our clients collections.
From the carefully chosen colors to the clean lines on the false ceiling, every element of this home contributes to a harmonious symphony of design. Our goal was to creatively showcase luxury, and with the creative freedom we had, we believe we’ve delivered our best work.
