  • This 1600 sq ft House in South Mumbai Breathes A Dance of Simplicity | Pree D’Fine

Within the limitations of a 1600 sq ft apartment house, Aether Shore is being transformed into more than just a gorgeous place to live. It’s becoming a journey from the bustle of the city to the peace of the ocean. This is a house that breathes: a dance of simplicity and infinity set against the famous seashore of South Mumbai.

The metamorphosis of Aether Shore is a tale of painstaking effort that started with a straightforward idea: to build a haven that blends in harmony with the breathtaking vistas of the sea that surround Mumbai. The founder of Pree D’Fine, Preetu Muley Pandey, set out on a mission to bring this idea to life and make it a stunning, real-world experience.

Editor’s Note: “In the heart of Mumbai’s bustling rhythm, this residence unfolds as a sanctuary of calm, where thoughtful design and soothing palettes craft a journey of quiet retreat. Its sleek, minimal aesthetic allows natural light to dance freely, weaving a silent symphony with those who dwell within. Every corner whispers the story of meticulous craftsmanship, as the delicate interplay of furnishings and lighting brings an artful harmony.” ~Simran Khare

This 1600 sq ft House in South Mumbai Breathes A Dance of Simplicity | Pree D’Fine

The atmosphere of this 1600 sq ft house is created at the entrance. A well-thought-out entry door sets the tone for the welcome atmosphere, as does the wall next to it, which has a classy opening pattern. This layout makes it possible for sunlight to slowly stream into the room, making it feel warm and welcoming as soon as someone walks in. This small gesture makes the flat feel cosier and more peaceful, which improves the feeling of settling in.

    Design Philosophy

The core of Aether Shore’s design philosophy is most evident in the living area. This area is more than just a room; it’s an experience that flows with the Arabian Sea’s boundless horizon.

The goal of the design team was very clear: they wanted to create an area where visitors could enjoy the views without actually feeling like they were a part of them. This was accomplished by cleverly positioning a frameless mirror to reflect and capture the ever-changing splendor of the water.

The sea views remain the major attraction thanks to the minimalist furniture, which was thoughtfully chosen for its streamlined lines and understated presence to suit this feeling of openness.

The monochromatic colour scheme, dominated by light grey tones, enhances the impact and gives the space a sense of openness and expansiveness. Warm wooden textures, on the other hand, give a layer of coziness that encourages relaxation and keeps the room from seeming cold.

    Master Bedroom

This master bedroom serves as a haven from the outside world, where comfort and closeness are valued highly. The team’s main goal in developing this area was to create a warm, welcoming spot. This was for people to unwind and forget about their daily worries. Warm mushroom hues used on the walls and furniture produce a comforting, cosy ambience that calms the senses. Soft, glowing lights strategically illuminate the room, highlighting its textures and creating a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

Lighting is a key component of this design. These lights provide soft shadows that give the area depth and dimension. However, they are also an essential component of the room’s architecture. The master bedroom’s layout is likewise a study in functionality.

The room’s design incorporates plenty of storage options to keep things organized and out of the way. Every component, including the furniture arrangement and material selection, works together to create a more serene and cosy atmosphere in the space. Thus, turning it into a real haven inside the house.

    Child’s Bedroom

The child’s bedroom is a colorful and exciting space that reflects their love of football. The designers created a room that can grow with the child and is full of fun and energy. The room’s football theme and bright colors make it a great place for the child to play and learn.

The Aether Shore’s dining area and bar counter are more than just places to eat and drink. They are social hubs where art and design come together.

The sculptures and lighting create a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. Lounge areas with comfortable seating and stunning sea views provide residents with a relaxing escape.

The overall goal of the home’s transformation is to create a place that is not just a residence, but a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul.

The Aether Shore apartments in South Mumbai feature stylish lounge areas with comfortable seating and soft furnishings. These spaces offer residents a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views. The goal of this home transformation was to create a living space that not only provides comfort but also promotes well-being and tranquility.

Aether Shore is not just a home; it is a place that heals. It is a sanctuary where the design itself becomes a tool for enhancing the quality of life.
