The luxurious apartment building features expansive windows and cross-ventilation in the suburbs of Gandhinagar. A joint family reached out to designer Kandarp Rajyaguru, founder of Placepoet Architects, to conceptualize the interiors of their 1600-square-foot apartment. The luxurious apartment building houses four bedrooms, one of which was transformed into a home theatre. The abode seamlessly integrates living, dining, and puja spaces with a neutral colour palette of grey sandstone, eggshell walls, and oak veneer.

The brief was straightforward, catering to a family with three generations. They desired a minimalist design language with a neutral colour palette and stone walls. The design emphasises comfort with tactile elements, while a neutral palette ensures timeless appeal.
Overall, it’s a stylish and versatile space that balances warmth and modernity. Sheer curtains envelop the dining and living areas, casting a gentle, natural glow that enhances the serene ambience.
A fixed fluted glass partition demarcates the dining and living spaces, preserving visual continuity between the two areas while allowing privacy as needed.
Sunlight bathes the apartment in its gentle glow, and the restrained colour palette finds companionship in warm veneers, plush upholstery, and hints of grey.
The dining area’s allure emanates from leather-upholstered and brass table bottoms and swivel dining chairs.
In the bedrooms, serenity reigns supreme, with pastel walls lending an air of luxury. The master bedroom exhibits a cool colour palette, with mint blue painted on the wall mouldings. The intention was to create a relaxing environment to uplift the frame of mind.
The parents’ bedroom features a true Italian marble wall, reflecting the genuine nature of the user. The large window by the side fills up the room with daylight, brightening up the wardrobe shutters and their minimalist patterns.
The grandparent’s room colour palette exhibits olive green and yellow ochre, reflecting the maturity of Mother Nature.
The wooden frame backdrop of the headboard adds to the aesthetics of the room. Numerous green features are seamlessly integrated into the home, emphasising sustainability.
Seamless automation controls all lighting, appliances, and furnishings throughout the entire house. The project features one-of-a-kind mood-setting touch panel control boards to instantly achieve the required aesthetics.
