Every part of the house was well thought with subtle elegance of a minimal palette, my favorite being the arc partition which divides private from public space, the bay window seating in the master room and the tic tac toe inspired wall cladding which divides the rectangular lounge space into parts.

When we started demolishing the walls and flooring, we learnt that there was no RCC flooring slab and the tiles were laid debris.

Given, that we had to work on a budget, these unforeseen costs started adding up. Work timings were strict since we couldn’t work after 6 pm.
‘Time is Money’, and we struggled to finish on time. The services point like plumbing and electrical were all connected to a grid which was common to the whole building, so we had to keep the bathroom and the kitchen intact as planned before. However, our client was reasonable with her expectations.
