A residential apartment that cuts itself off from the city noise while soaking in the picturesque view of the upbeat city of Mumbai, commands an equally intriguing and luxurious interior. Instinctively, we decided to dress this 38th floor apartment in a cloak of sophistication.
Spacious 3BHK Home Piously Following The Principles Of Vastu Shastra | FORAM VORA DESIGN STUDIO

Previously built as a 4BHK, the house is designed and refined to be a spacious 3BHK home piously following the principles of Vastu. The home portrays a multitude of palettes, drawing various experiences. To truly live this space, let’s first dive into the design approach of the rooms and savour its moods!Ultimately, the array of various design languages of the rooms elegantly come together to formulate a living plus dining space.
Atypically planned, the living room is strategically arranged away from the entrance, casting a cosy family seating diffusing towards the balcony. A large fluid artwork hangs in the background with an unconventional frame of natural veneer expressing purity beyond ordinary!
Further, the envelope of creamy walls and marble flooring is enhanced with beautiful, heavy drapery. Illuminated by mood lighting, the opulent furniture and accents add a layer of warmth to the home. Blending in with the surroundings, a pair of subtly carved white shutters reveal the divine temple cast in place next to the dining area.
In totality, the communal spaces converge all the moods of the individual rooms—a dazzling palette of browns, greys and whites with judicious accents of scintillating gold, singing a harmonious tune of splendour.
The gallery layout of the kitchen embraces the polarities of black and white while balancing each other to create an almost musical equation. The space extends to infinity, giving more than a peak of the outer world. The user here is sure to enjoy a little wine and cooking on the magnificent countertop.
The main bedroom evokes mystery, power, and finesse with its monochromatic grandeur. The pronounced textured Italian Marble wall gives the ultimate backdrop to the bed paired with coordinated curtains.
A synchronised sliding door seamlessly opens up and welcomes the user to the dressing room. The volumes of the wardrobe are boxed and transparent, while the rest of the space is rendered with vertical linearity exuding an aura of elegance.
Sleek finishes and reflective surfaces with a bling of gold define the aesthetics of the room. Concealed within the fluted panels of the dressing is the entrance to the main bathroom which is a white symphony furnished with rosegold fittings.
A blissful mood slowly dissolves in a serene palette of whites and greys as one enters the parents’ bedroom. The experience of this room draws a certain calmness due to the principled use of simplicity, linearity and achromatic tone all across the space.
Following the contextuality of the user group, serenity grows into sophistication as we move towards the son’s bedroom. Complementing the patterned wallpaper, a bold wooden grid extends up the wall, further beaming on the ceiling to produce an ultra-modern frame as a geometric bed back design and minimalistic ceiling. A step-up bed, a minimal study desk suspended on the front wall, and tints of refined navy blue compose a state-of-the-art room for the house.
