The brand new Outhouse Jwellery store in Goa is designed by Nishil Shah, founder of Studio Hasta. Situated in a heritage Portuguese villa, Nishil executed the design with a fusion of neutral and chic themes. The entire store is white-washed in contrast to darker flooring to highlight the jwellery and other articles.
Editor’s note: A jewelry boutique that focuses on the experiential qualities of shopping!Tucked inside a villa, the bare white walls let the jewelry pieces take center stage. The display set-ups have their own story to narrate. The sloping roof and vintage door cast off that Portuguese feel that compliments the salmon pink color and the flooring. Studio Hasta has created a lasting immersive experience here through the faith of restoration. ~ Nishal Sevak
Outhouse Jwellery’s all-new store in Goa is dusty pink heaven | Studio Hasta
The new resort boutique of Outhouse Jewellery, nestled in a heritage Portuguese villa, in Goa, expresses the vibrancy of the region through an innovative melange of signature hues.
For the construction, Nishil Shah brainstormed the vision of the heritage space along with the Outhouse co-founders Kaabia Grewal and Sasha Grewal.
A holiday spirit comes alive in a palette of salmon pink, natural white and cement gray, that colors architectural elements in the store. The interiors are creatively crafted and well-thought keeping the client’s requests and the brand name values intact.
The boutique captures a resort reverie in an experiential environment. Seen within its two rooms are unique architectural sculptures that include terracotta figurines and the iconic gemstones and monogram-encrusted ceramic vases, delivering a dialogue of innovation.
When one enters, meandering fluidic carvings on thick white-washed walls pave the way to the marvel inside Outhouse jwellery store. Furthermore, the walls flourish with the earthy and sandy flooring and highlight the metallic and colorful articles.
Nested between two rooms, the boutique creates a holiday mood with its lush ambience that houses an artisanal range of jewelry and bags. Not to forget the sculptural pieces that stands on state-of-the-art display table with bejewelled vases.
The outcome of Outhouse Jwellery’s recent store design included elements handcrafted with local materials. Such as the beige bamboo lamp, the humanoid terracotta sculptures, and customized ceramic vases. In addition, the dramatic construction marries Outhouse jwellery and its aesthetics with the city’s calm yet brimming attributes.
