Interiors Imparting Elegant French Look To The Apartment | AN Designs

Client’s Brief:

This beautiful 2-flats combined home belongs to a lovely young couple, their in-laws, and their sweet little boy. We got a simple brief of making a Modern, Elegant home with Minimal furniture.

Visit: AN Designs

Concept Note:

The project is of 2-flats combined apartment of 2700 sqft. residential home. The concept was to give modern, sophisticated, and classy looking interiors.  Adding more value to our idea of giving elegance and a French look, we have used the green and grey hues, and the bespoke furniture from the Inhabit store of Hyderabad as per the requirement of the client. Kindly have a look at the site pictures attached.

Classic & Modern Living Area:

Starting with one of the most important and challenging spaces of the home, the big living hall. To give a mysterious and radiant look, 22 X 23 sqft. the living room was enriched with the green hues, beige curtains, and William’s grey granite. The TV unit was simple yet elegantly made with straight lines on the wall. The barn door connected to the living room was used as a partition between two flats with an objective of air conditioning, and it also added an aesthetic look to the overall design. Along with the two vintage-looking chairs and the cane center table, we finish the picture perfect-looking living room.

The history of pastime:

Don’t think twice to make a style statement by adding an elegant jhula to your home. We believe in customizing every detail according to the house owner’s need. A beautiful sitting area is created by using Bharat Cement tiles for the flooring and our walls were adorned with green nature. We are awestruck with cushioning of the jhula. Let’s relax.

Country side Kitchen:

The kitchen was the heart of the home as my client was going to spend the majority of her time in it. So, seeing her taste in design, we made a customized kitchen instead of a modular. This corner of the home was dripped with the perfection of classy Spanish tiles, giving a contemporary look to the home.

The hues of teal green revitalize the country side concept kitchen and bring in some positive wisdom. Not using a chimney was the right decision as 12’8” X 10’3” space had enough cross ventilation due to the iconic Ireland style Georgian windows, and it also made the kitchen look more spacious and elegant.

Dining Area:

Connected to the living room is this cozy dining area. With seating arrangement of 6, the olive-green bespoke furniture gave the room a timeless and elegant look.

Classic & Contemporary Master Bedroom:

The 16’2′ X 13’6′ size room and a 10 X 13’6′ attached bathroom, the master bedroom was specially designed for their parents. Keeping in mind their age, we had given a minimal look with the help of mount Macassar veneer trimmed with rock crayon grey. The special requirement from our elder clients of having a big bathroom like the once in the US, we gave them a classy looking bathroom with the help of satvariao marbles on Dado wall and have used faucets of Gessi from FCML. The glass closet was just perfect to use as it is easy to clean, and gives more space to the elderly couple for storing their lifelong memories.

Rustic Master bedroom:

The shade of rock crayon grey with brick can never go wrong. The rustic bedroom of the house is where my clients spend their moments of happiness. Taking their interest in biking, we have created a rustic look with the real bricks used from Jay Jalaram on the wall and a micro-finish of rock crayon grey on the wall, floor and bathroom. The brick brown glass wardrobe is adding a pinch of grace to the 15′ X 10′ room.

Country side Master Bedroom:

The white and the bright room of the house, this country side guest room of the house has a mesmerizing tone of shades. With white, we have used the light tone of blue, green and sprinkling of grey to give a rich and a sophisticated look. The attached bathroom with the room has a French look, which perfectly complements the white country side room.

Kids room:

As the saying goes, ‘for the better growth of kids along with the theory learning, practical also plays an important role’. My client has a 2-year-old very cute kiddo name Kiaansh, for whom she wanted a room which is full of activity and practical learning. So, we made a tent, climbing wall and swings which he can enjoy at any age. Adding more to the creativity, we made a vertical chalkboard for him to enjoy endless scribbling and drawing.

Moving forward to phase two of the home. It has three bedrooms, a projector room and a balcony with a Jhula to enjoy the evening family time.

Projector Room:

The room which can be converted to a bar during parties and a theatre room during movie time, was an important requirement by the client, as they are cricket and movie freaks. Because we had a constrain of space, there was a big no for using recliner chairs, instead, we used a bed – making the room available as a guest room and a storeroom. This room has a black glass partition with the sitting area where the Jhula is placed. To give a natural look, we have used Bharat tiles on the floor and walls of the room and the sitting area.
