Hollywood and reality TV celebrities have been taking notice of New York artist Marko Stout. The artist’s recent sold out exhibitions at New York’s famed Pace Gallery, Caelum Gallery and Gallery MC had large numbers of art dealers, international collectors, fans and celebrities came in by the droves to meet him and bag some of his latest art. Some of the celebrities who have taken a liking to his work include Caitlyn Jenner (Keeping up with the Kardashians), Kaya Jones (The Pussycat Dolls), and Cara Mund (Miss America 2018), Todrick Hall (American Idol) among other celebrities.
The iconic New York artist Marko Stout has an extensive following of celebrity fans and among the artist’s admires is business and star of hit TV show “Shark Tank”, Kevin O’Leary declared in a brief YouTube video “I’m a fan… Marko Stout is amazing”. Stout’s fans also include the Kardashians and Jenners, superstars of the megahit show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. Catilyn Jenner talked extensively about the artist while in New York City during the 2018 Fashion Week where she expressed her excitement and enthusiasm for Marko Stout’s work and this upcoming exhibition.
The cast RuPaul’s Drag Race are expressing their eagerness to visit New York’s hottest show and meet the iconic artist this fall. Shanglea wished the artist a major “con-drag-ulations” and went on to talk of Stout’s “charisma, uniqueness, never and talent”. Trinity Taylor said, “yes queen I love your art! Marko is so talented!”. RuPaul’s Jaymes Mansfield called Stout’s work,”…extra, extra, extra sexy!”
The artist’s celebrity fans also include Pussycat Dolls lead singer Kaya Jones who said, “Marko Stout’s art is amazing! He’s totally crushing it!” and “The Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison who said of the exposition,” it’s so exciting! I think Marko Stout is really cool!”.
Many in the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race also turned out with Shanglea another big fan who wished the artist a major “con-drag-ulations” and went on to talk of Stout’s “charisma, uniqueness, never and talent”. Carson Kressley, star of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” talked extensively in his video about being a really huge fan of the artist and quipping, “Marko Stout’s work is Amaz-Balls!” Madison Hildebrand, the star of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles said, “Thank you Marko Stout for sharing your art with us! The world is excited to see it!” Carla Mund, “Miss America 2018” is also a fan of the artist saying, “I’m also an art scholar and really big fan! Marko Stout is an inspiration for all future artists”.
Despite the declining New York art market with many galleries closing Marko Stout remains an exception with record breaking sales and crowd size growing with each exhibition. He’s currently New York’s hottest artist and many in the media are comparing him to Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons. The famed art dealer Taylor Cohen said of Marko Stout, “I’ve not seen this kind of excitement for an artist since Jeff Koon’s retrospective at the Whiney Museum or the Basquiat exhibition”. Stout is the out a doubt the hottest artist in New York City and many in the media have been comparing him to Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons.
