This residential interior has been designed and executed by ‘The Design Mesh’, an Architectural and Interior design studio founded by Ar. Meghna Khandelwal and Ar. Shrey Mahashabde in the city of Amravati. We tried to make justice to the owner and builder of the establishment, Mr. Rajesh Daga by making the best possible use of every inch of the space. We believe that space management is a part of luxury too. Every room in this 2100 sq.ft, three bedroom penthouse tells a different tale but from the same story book. The penthouse is designed inclusive of amenities of an apartment design with an aura of a luxurious Manor.
Amenities Of An Apartment Design With An Aura Of A Luxurious Manor | The Design Mesh

This apartment situated on the eight floor gives a buzz of the highest dwelling in Amravati while the traffic cacophony and the chaotic city noises fade away in its west facing balconies, which will show you the birds flying their way back home while as you sip your evening tea in an armchair.
As we enter from the main door a M.S partition welcomes us with a sleek console unit to hold some keys and store some footwear in the storage below, which basically is a space divider but the design of the jaali in the partition has a potential to start a conversation.
Making the store room doors entirely in veneer with horizontal grooves and accessorizing this entire thing in gold finished hardware helped us achieved the look functionally and aesthetically. Grey and wood can never go wrong, we believe it is the most subtle combination, where wood makes it look earthy as well as rich, and the grey gives the entire area a cozy comfortable feeling.
Providing a store room to create more space for additional storage was a challenge, without hindering the looks of our common spaces.
The dining area as an extension of the living area comprises of a crockery unit, that has been cladded with mirrors in its extended console table to make the entire space look more spacious with a balcony that has the most beautiful view of the sunset.
The kitchen is as clean as a whistle with all of the hardware and fittings provided by hafele. The colour shade resembles the theme of the entire manor.
Every room has been executed in a certain way that the user specification were solemnly satisfied while our design was justified as well.
For the kid’s room, we added a spoonful of wood with a lot of blue to make it look alive and cozy as well. Circular shaped parts of the furniture add a modish look to the room, from the wardrobe handles to the wall mount lights on the bed back to the circular mural above the study table.
To butter-up the look of wooden flooring in the master bedroom, we tried to inseminate a slight amount of roman classical theme with the help of wainscoting on the bed back wall. The dance of grey, wood and crème created a nice subtly warm neoclassical vibe for this bedroom.
A TV unit with ample amount of space to store all of the luggage carriers yet looking light as a candle and aesthetic was the client’s wish.
Our third room being slightly introverted had a slightly low ceiling height as compared to the entire apartment, thus we made use of geometrical vertical straight lines to make it look tall and bold while bluffing a good ceiling height, feather light shade of white and greys helped our timid room look much larger than its size and thus we achieve the desired look.
We also incorporated a small dressing unit along with the TV unit in this room. The room opened into a balcony with a sleek wall mounted console to enjoy your morning cup of tea.
A low maintenance cozy home was the headline of the client’s brief. Sparkly material or flamboyant finishes was never in the list.
The interior of this beautiful apartment is an amalgamation of modern style with the simplicity of the classic style using clean and striking spaces.
