  • A Subtle Colour Palette To Induce An Old-World Charm To The Interiors | A-TRIO ARCHITECTS

    [Sassy_Social_Share]

Being sited in between a busy neighbourhood, in order to create a spacious and luxurious home where the owner felt constantly connected to the outdoors, the designers inverted the concept of a bungalow set in a garden by infusing gardens into the bungalow and encapsulating the natural green space within the house.

A Subtle Colour Palette To Induce An Old-World Charm To The Interiors | A-TRIO ARCHITECTS

    visit : A-TRIO ARCHITECTS

The private residence is designed to flow with how the family functions in their routine life, breaking down to a simple formula – private vs public. Hence the arrangement has been divided into two wings connected by the circulation making it an c-shape layout, one wing being the guest wing (public) and the second wing being the family wing (private) with gathering spaces flanked by courtyards on both sides.

The entrance foyer is open and welcoming with a window overlooking the courtyard, setting the tone for the interiors. The ground floor formal family lounge use furniture and a subtle colour palette to induce an old-world charm to the Interiors. The courtyard in the middle of the residence acts as the focal point and links interiors to the green outside.

The building layout creates a complete and hermetic bond between the interior and the exterior. The courtyards act as connection between the dynamic spaces that allows microclimate to be experienced daily, blurring the lines of indoor – outdoor living.

The captivating courtyard design provides this home with a special sense of serenity and acts as personalised natural retreat that feeds into adjacent interior spaces.

The living space adjacent to the courtyard is an elegant double height space welcoming the visitors inside the residence. The double height courtyard forms the core of the house, imbusing it with charm, life and a fell of luxury and comfort.

The temple is designed entirely in white – a testimony to the sanctity of the spaces. A twisting staircase is intentionally places within the space to create another centre within the focal point of the Residence.

The interiors are done very subtly with shades of grey and browns. A hint of colour is sprinkled into the spaces using coloured chairs, backdrops and furniture.

Each of the bedrooms has its own unique language but there is an underlying language of tranquillity and comfort in all of the private spaces.

Green spaces form an integral part of the residence, adding life to it and creating a sense of balance. Various green Nooks and corners surprise the visitors within the residence, offering spaces of comfort and relaxation.
