  • A Modern Home With Elegant Décor, Tasteful Artefacts And Colourful Fabrics | The Line Studio

We incorporated the simplicity and warmth of the home owners in this residence along with their parents & their lovely daughter. This was one of the best projects we have recently worked on; the reason being that my clients were so supportive in the entire project that we actually had fun while working on the design. Inculcating the clients’ requirements and our design ideas, we designed a modern home with elegant décor, tasteful artefacts and colourful fabrics.

There was a lot of brain storming done earlier for the layouts, project. Client wanted a very elegant and modern look to the entire house. Even with their hectic schedule they managed to support us in each and everything. We ensured that the décor, artefacts and fabrics were matched up to the required capacity, with the tile  flooring & solid wooden flooring and elements of Rose gold and gold, we were able to convert the living room and master bedroom into an elegant into a master piece .

This 4,200 Sq.ft home showcases a design language plush with modern sensibilities, coupled with a soft colour scheme and a warm material palette, making it a welcoming oasis for its residents. The entrance to this villa is marked by a natural stone buddha wall with a italian marble top console table .

Built near to the the front door, which is midway along the length of the floor, it works as a light visual demarcation between the living and the dining areas of the open floor plan.

Being an open kitchen with direct view of the living room & dining room, it had to be designed in a clean and clutter-free manner, for everyday cooking and yet, appealing to the eye, we played within the throes of modern minimalism, awarding it a generous, charming, and relatable aesthetic.

The dining area stays visually separate from the living area as it has a different design fabric,” The  contrast to the simple lines and neutral tones of the living area. However, the chairs of the dining table share a look similar to the pieces in the living room.

The table and chairs stand on a rectangle of floor made of Grey William marble with brass inlays that discreetly but clearly demarcates the dining area from the rest of the living space. Talking about the different treatment for the flooring,  The material palette was kept neutral in tonality, with accents in gold  elevating the existing   flooring. In the living room, a gold-and-blush palette prevails

In this kid’s bedroom, the pink white monkey bed bench and curtain bring in a spirit of liveliness and subtly transform the space into a vibrant room. Vibrant colours peppered with warm wooden textures add freshness and character to the kids’ bedroom.

The master bedroom is a mélange of pastel shade, a departure from the gilt-edged living area.
master bedroom also serves with huge wardrobes. The clients’ love for minimalism is reflected in the design.

The polished teak wood flooring finish emphasizes natural simplicity in the 1st floor of the villa while the scale of the design projects a majestic yet harmonious atmosphere.

The minimalist spirit carries through to the parents bedroom. A beige fabric headboard adds a dose of colour to the back walls. The parents bedroom is a cosy haven boasting a subtle yet elegant colour palette, topped by the tufted bed with a lush beige headboard.

Pooja room has been kept minimal, the eye catching is teak wood carved door & its being used as study too.
