Our latest project is a 2400 sq.ft. office interior for Sonalika group’s CSR Initiative. The CSR Division has been working for over a decade, to empower the ones in need through many initiatives. Some of the key projects under this division are the Skill and Knowledge based center for the underprivileged, Sonalika’s e-gurukul and the Sonalika Sports Academy.
Editor’s Note: This corporate world is not your typical grey cube. The neutral tones merge smoothly into an efficiently designed, well-lit space, encouraging numerous activities and discussions. The exposed ceiling reveals streaks of red pipelines and strip lights that hold the interiors together like spiderwebs. – Gopika Pramod
A 2400 sq.ft. Office Interior that Showcases Shades of Gray | Ekta Khanna Design Studio
The client’s brief was to create a warm workspace that allows free movement for not just the staff, but also the parent and student groups that often visit the office for discussions and learning based activities.
The office layout is very efficient, with the key rooms being towards the windows. The central open office area has a combination of Y shaped workstations and a few cubicles for senior staff. There is a break out space which doubles up as a waiting area / reception.
The moodboard is warm with shades of beige blending with greys and these get framed with charcoal grey framed glass partitions. Light oak adds the woody element and this along with highlight colours like sage green and calm blues, add softness to the darker tones of the partition frames and carpet.
