The main door was designed with very intresting looking concentric chakras or call it a Mandala; giving an ultimate focus in the entrance of the house. The finishes of the door is done with matt gold polish giving it an antique look. The handle in the centre is also provided in antique finish making the overall entrance unique and grand.
After entering the house, a small drawing room is created with a modern design seating. This further leads you to the glimpse of the grandeur that follows. Using light color schemes with the use of plenty of white and pastel shades gives a sense of spaciousness to this small room design.
Walking through the guest sitting room, a vast living room was a combination of lounge area with a traditional old dinning base with a replaced onyx top and an open kitchen. This area also acts as the TV room for casual days.
The transition from one area of the living room to another area is smooth and seamless. Modern and chic styled furniture rules the overall décor of these Living Spaces. The use of wall with a book match tile in TV unit and flute panel finished with Sirca PU paints in muted color of double height to make it look extraordinary element of the house.
The most eye pleasing space of the project is the double height living room with book match Italian marble finish wall cladding TV unit combined with natural teak wood veneer finished ceiling.
Kitchen area is kept minimal with lush brown color finished with glossy acrylic lamination. The highlight of the area is the fluted panel and quartz finished white kitchen top. The idea and desire of the client was to have an interactive kitchen-dining space, where family can enjoy a meal session while cooking, so the open kitchen dining has been created to fulfill the needs.
The inverted hanging light framed with metal shelves at the corner giving the space exhilarating look. A lot of emphasis is laid on styling in the entire project along with uniformity in material and color which reflect the distinct requirements and tastes of the client.
Living room to backyard – having an open concept for the house it was mandatory to make screens to provide some privacy. The terracotta jali was made to keep the backyard private and vice versa for the better privacy of the house.
Stair – steps floating on the central beam with teak finish in the bottom and the steps made of full body tile with brass inlay in the middle and placement of light in the centre of the steps make the most remarkable part of the project.
The Master Bedroom is done up in the contemporary style in English shades of grey, teakwood finish, with clean floral details on headboard. Along this bed side wall, a minimal TV unit paneling is done with plain simple minimalist design, with corner shelf to keep an artifacts and memory frames.
Son’s Bedroom- A sleeping zone, a working station, chest of drawers, a free standing mirror and a wardrobe, textured wall – all this arrangement works great when you want a have-it-all type of bedroom. One of our favorite things here was creating the color scheme so it was relaxing but not too bland.
The bed headboard wall is a combination of rustic raw concrete finish, combined with teak finish veneer and a highlight of the wall is black fluted paneling. The materials used to make the space look modern, reasonably eclectic, and eye-pleasing.
The daughter’s bedroom has everything needed for a girl child to feel welcomed. It has a lot of storage to be filled with toys and stuff. The room is done up in earthy hues of wood & pink, layered with carving & textures in the form of headboard furnishes, wardrobe finishes and wallpaper.
The balcony and open terrace is a treat for the eyes and has a calming aura aided by the generous inclusion of plants. The therapeutic elements include planter beds and seating.
