  • This Spanish Inspired European villa Is Blended With Indian aesthetics | Priyank & Mitali Interiors

Casa del Sol is not merely a private villa—it is a deeply personal narrative shaped by light, craftsmanship, and emotion. Spanning 8,000 sq. ft. of built-up space within a generous 13,500 sq. ft. plot, this European Spanish inspired residence is thoughtfully designed and executed by Priyank & Mitali Interiors. The project stands as a rare and refined union of Mediterranean architectural charm and Indian artisanal mastery, resulting in a home that feels at once global in its aesthetic language and profoundly rooted in cultural sensitivity.

At its core, Casa del Sol is a celebration of intention. Every line, material, proportion, and pause within the home has been carefully considered. Rather than chasing trends, the design embraces timelessness—crafted to age gracefully while remaining emotionally resonant for the family it shelters.

A Grand Arrival: Architecture That Builds Anticipation

The spanish inspired experience of Casa del Sol begins long before one crosses the main door. A landscaped front garden avenue, thoughtfully planned and proportioned, leads visitors through a private approach road. This slow, deliberate journey heightens anticipation and creates a sense of retreat from the outside world. The landscaping is not ornamental alone; it serves as a buffer, a transition, and a visual prelude to the architectural language that follows.

Anchoring the arrival is the dramatic liquid PU–coated metal entrance door—a bold statement that balances strength with elegance. Its contemporary finish contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the villa’s Spanish inspired elements, setting the tone for a home that thrives on contrast and harmony alike. This entrance is not simply a door; it is a declaration of design intent.

The Threshold: Light as the First Design Element

Stepping inside, one is greeted by a serene foyer that immediately opens into a double-height duplex lobby—a space that defines the soul of the home. Here, natural light pours in from above and around, transforming throughout the day and animating the interiors with subtle shifts in mood. Morning light is soft and calming, afternoons are vibrant and energising, and evenings settle into a warm, golden tranquillity. In Casa del Sol, light is treated not as a by-product but as a material in itself. It sculpts the volumes, highlights textures, and enhances the spatial drama. The double-height lobby establishes an immediate sense of openness, elegance, and quiet grandeur—never overwhelming, always welcoming.

Living Spaces That Breathe With the Landscape

The main living lounge is framed by two grand French windows, allowing daylight to flood the interiors while maintaining a strong visual connection to the outdoors. These windows soften the boundary between inside and outside, inviting the landscape into daily life. The living area feels airy yet intimate—a space designed equally for quiet family moments and social gatherings.

Furniture placement, material choices, and colour palettes are all calibrated to enhance the quality of light and movement. Soft neutrals, layered textures, and refined detailing ensure the space remains timeless and versatile. This is a living room designed not for show, but for living beautifully.

A Sacred Pause: The Udaipur Marble Pooja Space

Adjacent to the living area lies one of the most emotionally significant spaces in the home—the custom-carved Udaipur marble Pooja room. Exceptional precision shapes this sacred space, echoing deep cultural reverence and artisanal mastery. Each carving narrates a story, every detail honours tradition, and every proportion finds its balance.

The design resists isolating spirituality, instead weaving the Pooja room seamlessly into the home’s spatial flow, where devotion and everyday life exist side by side. It stands as a reminder that luxury, when done right, is not about excess but about meaning.

Kitchen and Dining: Designed for Togetherness

The architects designed the kitchen and dining interiors for a family that cherishes hosting, celebration, and shared meals. Open, warm, and highly functional, these spaces strike a fine balance between efficiency and elegance. Thoughtfully planned layouts allow ease of movement, while refined finishes elevate the overall experience.

The designers chose materials for durability without compromising the Spanish inspired aesthetics, ensuring the kitchen remains as beautiful as it is practical. The dining area flows effortlessly from the kitchen, creating a welcoming environment where conversations linger long after meals end.

The Courtyard: The Beating Heart of Casa del Sol

At the centre of the villa lies a strategically placed courtyard, acting as the home’s breathing core. This open-to-sky space brings in abundant natural light and ventilation, ensuring that every corner of the house feels alive and connected to nature. The courtyard is not merely an architectural feature—it is the emotional heart around which the home gracefully revolves.

From multiple vantage points across floors, the courtyard offers changing perspectives, fostering a sense of continuity and calm. It encourages moments of pause, reflection, and connection—making nature an integral part of everyday living.

Ground Floor Retreats: Comfort with Privacy

The ground floor houses a serene master suite, positioned to offer privacy and uninterrupted views of lush planters. The designers conceived this bedroom as a personal retreat—a space where calmness reigns. Soft lighting, tactile materials, and understated luxury define the ambience, allowing the homeowners to unwind in complete comfort.

A well-appointed guest bedroom is also located on this level, designed with the same attention to detail and hospitality. It reflects the home’s ethos—ensuring that every occupant, whether permanent or temporary, experiences the same warmth and refinement.

The First Floor: Personal Stories in Architectural Form

The first floor unfolds into a collection of deeply personal spaces, each crafted to reflect individuality while maintaining aesthetic coherence.

The parents’ bedroom features a distinctive hut-shaped ceiling, enriched with tactile textures and warm tones. This design evokes nostalgia and comfort, creating a cocoon-like atmosphere that feels both grounded and elegant.

The son’s suite is expansive and luxurious, designed to balance sophistication with youthful energy. Clean lines, refined materials, and thoughtful spatial planning give the room a sense of confidence and ease.

The daughter’s bedroom, crowned with another hut-shaped veneer ceiling, is playful yet poised. The design allows the space to grow with her—retaining charm while remaining timeless.

Completing the first floor is a fully immersive home theatre, a standout feature of Casa del Sol. Wrapped in hut-shaped wooden veneer cladding, the theatre offers a cocooned cinematic experience. Three-sided blackout window treatments ensure complete visual immersion, while an exceptional sound setup transforms the space into a private screening lounge—designed for indulgence without distraction.

Spatial Continuity: Open Lobbies and Visual Flow

All floors of Casa del Sol are connected through a warm, airy open lobby system. This design ensures the home remains socially fluid and visually connected, avoiding isolation between levels. From any point, one can sense the presence of the rest of the house—reinforcing the idea of togetherness while still respecting privacy.

    Bespoke Furnishings: Designed, Not Selected

Fully customised furniture and furnishings define Casa del Sol. Priyank & Mitali Interiors designed every piece specifically for this home—whether factory-crafted in Delhi or Raipur, or meticulously built on site. Nothing is generic. Nothing is accidental.

From proportions and ergonomics to finishes, palettes, and prints, each element of this Spanish inspired home was curated in-house to ensure emotional relevance and visual harmony. This level of customisation gives the interiors a cohesive, intentional, and deeply personal character—qualities that off-the-shelf solutions simply can’t achieve.

Captured in Light: A Home Made for Editorial Storytelling

A renowned architectural and interior photographer has photographed Casa del Sol. Multiple national design magazines have featured his work extensively. His visual storytelling captures the villa’s soulful elegance, sunlit volumes, and layered textures with remarkable sensitivity.

Every frame reveals the home’s editorial potential—making Casa del Sol exceptionally photogenic and magazine-ready. It is a project that translates beautifully from lived-in reality to printed page, without losing its authenticity.

A Journey of Dedication and Emotion

Behind the effortless elegance of Casa del Sol lies a journey marked by countless decisions, long days on-site, multiple city visits, endless samples, and meticulous coordination. It was a process that demanded patience, passion, and unwavering attention to detail.

Yet, as with all meaningful creations, the challenges dissolved the moment the homeowners stepped into their finished home. The joy in their eyes, the quiet satisfaction in their smiles—that was the true completion of Casa del Sol.

    Why Casa del Sol Matters

Casa del Sol is a home that invites curiosity. It encourages viewers to pause, to observe, to feel. The home is fresh yet timeless, luxurious yet user-friendly, deeply aesthetic yet emotionally expressive. It reflects a design philosophy that prioritises human experience over spectacle.

We believe Casa del Sol would resonate deeply with discerning readers and design enthusiasts alike. It is not just a villa—it is a story of sunlit living, thoughtful design, and soulful craftsmanship.

To feature Casa del Sol is to celebrate a home where architecture, interiors, and emotion come together in perfect harmony.
