Named Miorah House, this residence beautifully embodies its meaning—”a reflection of light.” Designed for a young couple and their two daughters, the home harmonizes modern furniture design with contemporary materials, creating a refined yet warm living experience. With an abundance of natural light pouring into the space, our material palette was carefully curated to enhance its luminosity, ensuring an interplay of reflections and textures that elevate the design.
Miorah House Showcases Modern Furniture Design In A Contemporary Setting | Design Bottega
The journey into Miorah House begins with an artful wooden veneer door, designed with a subtle yet striking pattern. As you step inside, the same wood seamlessly transitions into the entrance foyer, creating a cohesive flow that sets the tone for the rest of the home.
A foundation of cool grey Italian marble flooring balances the richness of wooden tones, ensuring an elegant yet inviting atmosphere.
The warmth of wood finds expression in fluted wall paneling, doors, and a veneer-clad ceiling, while the furniture and dining chairs have been meticulously chosen to complement this interplay of textures and hues. The result—a space that is modern, airy, and effortlessly sophisticated.
As the room that receives the most natural sunlight, the master bedroom breaks away from the warmth of wood and embraces a cooler palette of greys.
Soft textures in wallpapers, wall panels, and wardrobe finishes bring depth and cohesion, subtly tying it back to the design language of the rest of the house. The overall effect is one of calmness, elegance, and understated luxury.
Designed for two growing sisters—a toddler and a pre-teen—the bedroom needed to strike a delicate balance between playfulness and sophistication. A dreamy combination of pink and white creates a soft, inviting ambiance.
Functionality is key, with a dedicated study wall featuring two desks, ample storage for toys and books, and a thoughtfully designed bathroom that carries forward the same color scheme.
At Miorah House, every detail has been designed to embrace light, texture, and seamless transitions, making it not just a home but a reflection of its inhabitants.
