When you step into the Tamil house, the air shifts—a pause, a quiet breath. Eyes wander, tracing the lines of the walls, lingering on the stories they hold. You stand still for a moment, feeling the floor beneath your feet, smooth and cool, grounding you. The walls whisper secrets as you wait, unsure if you should say hello or simply listen. Time slows, and in that silence, you become part of the home—absorbing its warmth, its echoes, its soul.
A yellow band traces the ceiling boldly framing the space beneath. Athangudi tiles, rich and warm, dance across the floor. Handcrafted wooden furniture with colourful tile inlays nods to the intricate craftsmanship of Chettinad’s Aasary. Ravi Varma’s painting, framed in reverence, watches over the space from a nook.

Every corner hums with tradition—an ode to heritage, timeless traditions of the past, brought lovingly into the present.
As you enter the Tamil house through the foyer, a traditional Thanjavur Thalaiyatti Bommai welcomes you from its place on the foyer unit. A large mirror reflects your image, while the bold yellow bands on the ceiling guide your way forward.
The living room is adorned with intricately carved rosewood furniture, where Ram and Sita’s puppets grace the wall like a timeless tale woven into the space.
The dining room is graced by a painting of Ravi Varma and cherished family photographs, creating a space filled with warmth and history. It flows seamlessly into a kitchen thoughtfully designed to meet the client’s specific needs.
In the puja room, custom wooden brackets hold photographs of deities passed down through generations, preserving a legacy of devotion.
The bedrooms exude a quiet, understated elegance free from excess. The wardrobes, crafted from rattan and wood, introduce a subtle touch of tradition into the space.
