An Inviting and Luxurious Residence That Dignifies Its Spaces | Fernway Interiors

The project is a 3bhk in a 1580 Sq.ft but has been planned to still feel quite spacious and luxurious. The project has been designed keeping functionality in mind, an inviting and luxurious residence that dignifies its spaces. The client was shifting from a standalone traditional building into a complex flat which meant that there would be space constraints in comparison.

Editor’s note : “More is more!” In this luxuriously designed interior residence, one is instantly captivated by the never-ending gleaming elements the house is gilded with. Bold textural materials, hidden storage adorned with religious motifs and statement pieces of furniture, bind this inviting space in harmony. ~ Venessa Thomas (Co-Editor)

Hence, our concept was to give maximum storage possible without compromising on the design. There was also one simple request to hide the doors and db boxes in the entrance foyer.

Quite a few doors and cabinets have been concealed in panellings done on the walls. Mandir has a door that leads to the store room.

Mandir wall has pichwai artwork where 1 of the pichwai motifs is actually the handle that opens the store room door. The foyer also hides doors to the bedrooms and guest washroom.

These have been hidden in vertical wooden beats panelling in the foyer. There is a mirror panelling in the foyer that hides the db box and the automation and camera dbs.

The dining and living area has been made to look big and luxurious by placing a huge round mirror infront of the dining space which seems to multiply the space by reflecting light coming in through the huge glass balcony doors.

Onyx marble has been added behind the sofa guest bedroom for the grandeur element the space needed.

Light falling on it makes the veins sparkle. Magnetic track lights adorn the ceiling while keeping maximum ceiling height.

Both master bedroom and parents room has a wardrobe on 1 side of the bed which had been added for extra storage. It has been balanced out on the other side with decorative lights.

The overall color scheme of the bedrooms are neutrals. With off white/ivory PU polish as the majorly seen shades.

After covid era has seen an increase in the number of home studies. The guest room has a spacious study area which was a must for the clients. The bed has 2 mattress, 1 on top of the other, as the clients wanted an extra sleeping space.

The 2nd mattress fits perfectly in the floor space of the the study area for whenever guests are over with kids.
