    Dual Design

This duality is reflected in the seamless integration of modern design elements with organic, natural textures and muted tones. The result is a space that feels timeless, serene, and deeply connected to nature.

    Material Palette

A light beige palette forms the foundation of the design, evoking warmth and calm. Walls and ceilings are adorned with limewash texture, adding depth and a tactile quality to the surfaces.

    Materal Selection

Accents of colour are introduced through upholstered sofas, while metallic finishes in fixtures and detailing provide subtle contrast. The material selection prioritizes authenticity, with raw and unfinished touches that align with the Wabi Sabi ethos.

    Doctor’s OPD

The large OPD (Outpatient Department) is both professional and welcoming, with a layout that prioritizes patient comfort and efficient workflow.

The design maintains the clinic’s overarching aesthetic, featuring limewash walls, cove lighting, and bespoke furniture that blends form and function.

    Procedure Rooms

Five dedicated procedure rooms cater to skin, hair, and nail treatments. Each room is designed for functionality and privacy, with clean lines and muted tones ensuring a distraction-free environment.

The Wabi Sabi influence is evident in the use of textured finishes and organic shapes, creating a sense of harmony.

    Lighting Design

Cove lighting plays a pivotal role in the clinic’s ambiance, casting a diffused, indirect glow that eliminates harsh shadows. This approach aligns with the Wabi Sabi principle of embracing subtlety and imperfection, while also enhancing the contemporary appeal of the space.

    Conclusion

Skines by Dr. Krishna Patel is a testament to the power of thoughtful design in healthcare environments. By marrying contemporary minimalism with Wabi Sabi’s organic charm, the clinic offers a sanctuary where patients can feel at ease. The light beige palette, limewash textures, and strategic use of accent colours and metals create a cohesive and calming atmosphere. Every detail, from the expansive waiting area to the meticulously designed procedure rooms, reflects a commitment to aesthetics, functionality, and holistic well-being.
