This Traditional Contemporary House Combines Earthy Materials And Luxury Details | The Livin’
As a second home, furniture needs were minimal, so we focused on defining the space with creative flooring, a striking TV wall design, and minimalist furnishings. “Where tradition meets modernity – an Indo-Western fusion that tells a story of elegance and culture.” Moreover, this project captures the essence of blending Indian heritage with Western design elements in an interior space.
For an Indo-Western interior theme, combining materials like brick tiles, terracotta, cane finish laminates, and patterned tiles creates a beautiful fusion of rustic Indian charm and contemporary Western style.
Brick tiles add an earthy, rustic charm to the foyer, serving as a striking feature wall that enhances the space’s character. The exposed brick and weathered finishes evoke a traditional Indian aesthetic, blending seamlessly with the overall design while adding warmth and texture.
A perfect blend of traditional wooden furniture and contemporary Indian style seating with brass artifacts, creating a warm, inviting space.
Following the baluster design for a partition between living room and wash basin defines continuity. Additionally, geometric patterned tiles in the center add vibrancy and call attention to the area.
The kitchen features modern fixtures and a harmonious color scheme.
The Mandir, placed beside the kitchen, features a sleek laminate finish, giving it a contemporary yet elegant look. The doors are intricately designed with CNC-cut patterns, adding a touch of craftsmanship and sophistication to the space. The combination of the modern laminate surface and the precision of the CNC-cut doors creates a perfect fusion of style and functionality, making the Mandir not just a sacred space, but a beautifully integrated element of the home.
A cozy, modern bedroom featuring an upholstered headboard with grooved detailing that serves as a stylish partition to separate the furniture pieces. Additionally, the wardrobe is finished with a cane laminate, adding an organic, natural touch to the space. Hence, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
To create a serene and inviting outdoor terrace space, featuring a beautiful gazebo. Additionally, it is complemented by wooden and patterned tiles, for relaxation, dining, and social gatherings.
The Indo-Western fusion theme of this traditional contemporary house will create a home that exudes warmth, culture, and modernity. By thoughtfully combining the best of both worlds, the space will be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, reflecting the tastes and lifestyle of the homeowners while offering a comfortable, inviting retreat.
