  • This Office Space Touches the Realms of Minimal and Sober Interior Design Styles | AR Associates

Located in the corporate district of Aurangabad, this office space touches the realms of minimal and sober interior design styles. The clientele of this project has a strong base in the construction industry, thus they desired their workspace to be subtle yet impactful. The originality and execution are conducted by AR Associates. The entire expanse follows an integral intention of using a monotonous colour and material spread. The core concept was to provide a work environment that instils a sense of productivity and encouragement to the employees of the company. Thus, the design firm aimed to keep a neutral tone in design and give a personalised touch to the furniture design, art pieces and details

The entrance leads one to the reception area which gives a glimpse of what’s beyond. The partition behind the customised reception table shows a layer of bricks; a head-strong symbol of the real estate and construction market. A collage on the adjacent wall greets one with the various achievements embarked upon by the firm.

Adjacent to the reception lies a conference room, ideal for 8-10 people to conduct a meeting. Dipped in a peaceful narrative of white-washed walls, the room feels lighter and brighter due to the flood of natural light received from the generous opening over the wall.

The conference room table is designed in a manner that honours the profession of real estate development the entire white setting of this room is an intellectual decision to brew maximum ideas and opinions that can be poured open on the white canvas of the room. A mural adorns the front wall of the conference room. It doesn’t overpower the persona that the space defines because the black-and-white outline leaves an inkling nevertheless.

Past the reception is a quick meeting area for visitors and a series of personal cabins separated by the medium of veneer partition and glass doors. A patterned steel strip partition is placed between the meeting area and the circulation zone.

The artfully curated apparatus adds a touch of playfulness to the stillness of the spaces it is surrounded with. Brushed over with shades of beige, this framed separator has a lot to add to the space as a whole.

The private cabins hold a characteristic uniqueness to them while having a commonality. Warm wooden cladding is presented with white and grey colours on the wall.

There are display areas for the individual person occupying the room, a little something to make their workspace their own.

A rather delightful balcony space is converted into a spot of rejuvenation and unwinding. With potted saplings hung on the wall, to the enchanting patio seating placed over the artificial layers of grass, this nook is a precious corner for the employees to connect over a cup of tea! Personalised touches and provoking thoughts behind the design of the spaces make this workspace ideal for the company, something that AR Associates have achieved and left a mark on.
