Envisioned as the corporate office for a long-standing client, following our earlier design of their Research & Development workspace, this 3,500 sq. ft. corporate office carries forward a shared philosophy: placing employee wellbeing at the centre of every decision. The intent was not simply to create a functional workplace, but to shape an environment that feels responsive, inclusive, and aligned with the way people work today, while remaining flexible for how they will work in the future.

From the outset, the design consciously moves away from the expected language of a typical pharma office. Instead of sterile finishes and rigid layouts, the space embraces a more grounded and expressive character. Cool, graphic signage sits against warm brick surfaces, establishing a balance between clarity and comfort.
Playful ceiling elements introduce a sense of movement, while terrazzo flooring adds texture and rhythm across the workspace. These elements come together to create an environment that feels both professional and approachable.
Planning plays a key role in shaping the overall experience. The layout of the corporate office is intentionally open and fluid, encouraging ease of movement and interaction. Breakout zones, informal booths, and sleek, futuristic phone pods are integrated seamlessly into the plan, allowing the workplace to support a variety of working styles, from focused tasks to collaborative discussions. Rather than asking users to adapt to the space, the design allows the space to adapt to them.
Across the workspace, there is a consistent effort to dissolve traditional hierarchies. Spatial planning, material choices, and the distribution of light all work together to create a sense of accessibility and equality. The design encourages collaboration and shared ownership, where no single space feels disproportionately privileged over another.
The senior executive’s cabin reflects a slightly different energy, more personal and distinct. Through a bold yet thoughtful palette, the space subtly challenges the idea of uniform, copy-paste office modules.
It offers individuality without disconnecting from the larger design language, reinforcing the idea that leadership spaces can have character while still feeling part of a cohesive whole.
One of the most defining decisions in the project is the way natural light is treated. The only corner window in the office is not reserved for a private cabin, but is instead allocated to the cafeteria. This deliberate choice reflects the founders’ emphasis on shared experiences and collective well-being.
It transforms a typically overlooked space into one of the most valued areas in the office. In contrast, the architects reimagined the reception area, originally lacking natural light, by introducing a skylight. This ensures that the first point of interaction feels open, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, despite its constraints.
While luxury in residential design is often defined by materials and finishes, this project approaches it differently. Here, the architects rooted luxury in intent, in the decisions that prioritise people, comfort, and fairness. The organisation’s value system becomes the true marker of richness, shaping an environment that feels generous and enduring.
The result is a workplace that is not only efficient and visually engaging but also deeply aligned with the people who use it. It reflects a quieter, more lasting idea of luxury, one where strong values, embedded into everyday design decisions, create a foundation for organisations to grow, evolve, and thrive over time.
