The vision for the German House Head Office was to shape a space that Embodies the brand’s Inherent strength, Precision, and industrial heritage while presenting it through a refined, contemporary lens. Located in Ahmedabad city, the 12,700 sq. ft. head office serves as the corporate center of one of Gujarat’s leading Vertically integrated iron and steel manufacturers, Renowned for its premium TMT bars and a formidable presence across western India.
This Corporate Center In Ahmedabad Embodies The Brand Values | Sana Raja Designs
Our design intervention focused on a key floor of the corporate center. It is a 3,250 sq. ft. executive and experiential zone.
The project began with an existing concrete structure, functional yet full of potential. Instead of concealing its raw character, we chose to celebrate it. Material honesty and industrial expression became the foundation of the design.
The aesthetic is defined by an equilibrium of restraint and strength. Exposed concrete finishes, open ceilings, and a monochromatic grey palette anchor the interior in a sense of grounded calm.
Bold red accents punctuate the space through sculptural lights, furniture, and the reception counter. They symbolically nod to molten metal and the fiery energy of steel manufacturing.
A defining conceptual move was the reinterpretation of TMT bars the brand’s signature product as a recurring architectural motif. These steel bars appear in inventive ways throughout the interiors: forming partitions, supporting tables, and detailing furniture pieces.
The company reimagines what is typically a raw, industrial material as a tactile storytelling element that visually narrates its identity and craftsmanship.
To counterbalance the raw strength of steel and concrete, biophilic design interventions were introduced in the form of vertical green walls, indoor planters, and carefully filtered natural light. These elements soften the industrial narrative and infuse the workspace with vitality and calm, creating a balanced atmosphere that feels both robust and refreshing.
The spatial program is planned for efficiency and experience alike comprising director cabins, a prayer room, open workstation clusters, meeting areas, and the central head office zone.
The layout culminates in a dedicated experience center, designed as an immersive brand gallery that showcases the company’s journey through material, texture, and light. The transitions between these spaces maintain visual continuity through recurring geometry and a restrained, cohesive palette.
For us, German House represents more than just a corporate interior. It is a dialogue between industry and design, legacy and innovation, material and emotion.
By integrating the brand’s DNA into every architectural detail, the project redefines how a manufacturing enterprise can communicate its values not through display, but through design that is honest, bold, and enduring.
