As you step into this beautifully crafted Ahmedabad apartment with wood interior design, the first thing that catches your eye is the inspiring entry wall. This thoughtfully designed entrance sets the tone for the rest of the home, offering an inviting glimpse into its sophisticated ambiance.
This Apartment with Wood Interior Design Celebrates Intricate Craftsmanship | RA Design Studio
Spanning an available floor area of 1100 sq. ft., this apartment fulfills the family’s desire for an open living layout. The use of minimal materials and a subtle color palette enhances the visual appeal, making the space feel airy and cohesive. Every design decision was made with an eye toward creating a harmonious and visually pleasing environment.
At the heart of the home, the living area features a seamless integration of oak panel surfaces. These panels connect different spaces, transforming the living area into a unified whole.
The entrance wall transitions into a TV wall and then into an island kitchen top, with the earthy tones of wood guiding the overall decor. Decorative elements, such as a marble-top kitchen and mushroom-colored surfaces, complement the oak panels.
Bright paintings add pops of color, making art pieces stand out against the subtle walls. Interesting rug patterns enrich the floor space, and the timeless color palette allows for easy redecoration.
The master bedroom is designed to maximize space by hiding structural niches within functional furniture and storage areas. A fluted panel doubles as a dresser unit, while a textured wallpaper with a geometric pattern highlights the wall behind the bed. When illuminated, the beige wallpaper framed in wood brings a lively yet harmonious feel to the room.
The smallest room in the home, designed for visiting parents, combines comfort and smart design. Half-covered oak panels and a hanging pillow as a bed back create a cozy atmosphere.
Minimal wall panelling and hanging bedside drawers make the floor space appear larger, enhancing the room’s functionality.
The kid’s room features a multifunctional floor bed that provides a large play platform and serves as a sleeping island with storage underneath. The design remains simple yet stylish, using the same oak panels found throughout the home.
