Tasked with infusing character into every corne, the designers drew inspiration from the bold aesthetics of Art Deco. Thereby seeking to imbue the space with elements of glamour, luxury, and order.
The result is something where every detail, from the gracefully curved entrance wall to the rich hues of the powder room, tells a story of thoughtful curation and elegance.
Communal areas meld indoor and outdoor realms. Thereby offering panoramic views of the Aravallis and creating intimate spaces designed for both large gatherings and serene relaxation.
Each room in this home has been crafted to balance beauty with practicality and to reflect the unique personalities of its inhabitants.
The decor palette speaks fluent Art Deco, with bold curves, vibrant colours, and lustrous finishes adorning every surface. Additionally, the flooring boasts striking patterns in shades of grey, white, and black, juxtaposed with luxurious marble and accents of gleaming gold throughout.
From the cosy fireplace in the living area to the sumptuous elegance of the master bedroom and the whimsical charm of the daughters’ room, each space within the home is a harmonious fusion of sophistication and functionality, designed to inspire and delight in equal measure.
Navigating the complexities of melding Malika and Mohit’s distinct tastes and preferences was undoubtedly a challenge, but one that ultimately yielded a result that surpassed all expectations.
Standout features include the seamlessly interconnected arches that guide visitors through the home, offering glimpses of the expansive golf course beyond, as well as the dining room, where cosiness and elegance converge to create an inviting space perfect for family gatherings and entertaining guests.
Reflecting on the design journey, Malika fondly recalls their initial reaction to a bold design choice—a striking red sofa that now serves as a beloved centrepiece in the living room.
Despite initial hesitation, it’s become a cherished feature that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the space.
Overall, the process of bringing their dream house in Gurugram to life has been a deeply fulfilling one, capturing the essence of their shared journey and creating an abode that truly feels like home.
